I just had another scan as I had a bit of spotting over the weekend and..............
There are 2 babies in there! As in twins. As in 2! I am so freaking out! They both look really healthy, are the perfect size for gestation, and we saw them moving around, and the cords etc look good, but OMFG - twins! The lady doing the scan was training, and the lady supervising her was smiling and looking at her, then they were both smiling, and I was like "what's happening, what's wrong" and then she said "there's two babies!" -------------  Maya Grace (28/02/03)

Wow! Wow! Wow! I imagine that you are in a complete stage of shock!
Can I just ask a question? (and sorry if you have already talked about it previously on here...) Did you just come off the pill immediately before conceiving? I've heard rumours that if you get pregnant in the first month of coming off the pill it doubles your chance of having twins. (Maybe its an old wives tale though?) DOUBLE congratulations to you though! |

Nope, they keep the same due date, but I spoke to my midwife and she aid she will have to share care with an obstetrician which is sad as I really wanted her to deliver the baby, but she won't deliver twins. But hopefully she can set up a shared care arrangement that works.
