Probably a strange question lol - but Ashleigh is a tummy sleeper and is soaking through her Huggies everynight out the top. I *assume* that boys Huggies would be more absorbant in the front and wondered if this would help my problem?? Any thoughts?

Nope, as I have a boy but that does make sense! Do you know someone with a boy who uses huggies, then you don't have to buy them yourself? I would offer to send you a couple of DS but think they would be too small for your wee girl.
I find the woolworth select brand works well on DS at night. I can only use huggies or them to last hm thru the night. -------------

Yeah I did for 1 packet, they were out of stock of he right size in girls & was desperate & Ashlyn is a tummy sleeper also and they "seemed" to work better while I had them, might have just been my imagination but it did seem to cut down on the wet bed problem in the morning ------------- Kerryn, Mum to Ashlyn(29/3/04), Anastasia(1/11/05) & Abigail (24/02/09) |

KH25 what a great idea!! I have a tummy sleeper here too and she wakes up soaking wet in the mornings!! Mind if I pinch your idea and give Lauren a go in boys naps at night
I tried my friends Air Plus naps the other night (from Nappies on line or somewhere like that) and she only leaked a tiny bit out the top, which is nothing to what normally happens! ------------- http://lilypie.com">  http://lilypie.com">

| For you girls with leaks why don't you borrow an empty pocket nappy or a cover (like a bummis) from someone and put that over top of the sposie and see if that keeps the bed dry at least cause it would have to go through an extra layer of waterproofing. My friend who has a tummy sleeper does this and she only has 1 pocket and airs it during the day to reuse at night, washes once a week and no more leaks. |

Yes, Charlotte was a tummy sleeper for about 10 months and at night I would put her in boys huggies, no leaks or anything. Highly reccomend! ------------- The Honest Un PC Parent of 2, usually stuck in the naughty corner! :P |

Well, I'm pleased to report that since using the boy Huggies, we have had 4 out of 4 dry mornings YAY   Went and bought a couple of packs from New World as they are on special!! Thanks again Shorty! Just saw thtis for the first time now - and we only use sposies at night so don't mind getting boy ones! We use a fleece snazzipants cover over her sposie at night and it does help, but sometimes the load is too great - stupid nap is all fat in the front and almost empty at the back. ------------- http://lilypie.com">  http://lilypie.com">

Wow, what a fantastic idea... I'm going to steal this too! Even though Keziah is still a back sleeper (her choice not ours) this will come in handy when she DOES want to sleep on her front

Oh good idea, Briahna is a tummy sleeper too! I use Pams ultra dry and she hardly ever leaks through them, but has started to the odd time now. Just types a massive post and it vanished!
I use woolworth selects during the day (if i can't be bothered with my MCN's that day) and they are brilliant. I first used them in Aussie and loved them so was very excited when they came out here. I have got into the habit of using Huggies at night and the last time I used the woolworth select ones over night was when DS was 15 weeks but they lasted then and they also didn't have that smell that Huggies sometimes have. Also they have super cute frog prints on them -------------
