Hi, I had sadly had my 2nd mc last cycle, very early on which cleared naturally. I have not really been trying to conceive, as I doubted I would ovulate this month, If I have I would be about 1 week past by now.
Had my blood pressure taken today and it is quite low, which is not the norm if I have eaten plenty in the day which I had (almost too much!;-) plus I am very faint and feel off colour have done for a few days, I also have started to turn my nose up at coffee?!feeling like I want it and then not liking the taste?
I doubt I am preggers but I can't help wondering. Probs my mind playing cruel tricks I guess as it is alway on my mind these days :-(
Too early to take a test just yet, just wondered what other people had felt before a positive test?

Hi Dotty,
I felt a little light headed before this BFP.
And your other symptoms sound a lot like other peoples general pregnancy symptoms.
I know why you mean about it always being on your mind...
I'm in the process of having blood tests every 2 days due to low hCG, so I wouldn't recommend blood tests as it's been a constant source of worry (and tears) for me.
What DPO (1 week??) are you? Are you temping?
Will the waiting kill you?? LOL!
My advice, for what its worth; you can't change the outcome at this stage so perhaps just let your body do what it is meant to do and POAS when AF is late.
Best of luck!

i got pregnant the next cycle after a M/C. I only lost one day in my cycle! I ovulated exactly 2 weeks +1 day after the miscarriage. Natures funny like that...
Just don't get your hopes up, but do act like you're pregnant...if that makes sense! I guess what I mean is don't do anything silly INCASE you're pregnant again, eg drinking, eating bad food etc.
Good luck!
Would you be happy if you were pregnant again?

Hi

I would be 1 week DPO, but hard to tell due to mc last month. It would be too early to have any symptoms wouldn't it?

Yes I would be stoked! Had my blood pressure taken again today and it is down a little more? Made sure I had a good brekkie just to try that out as well (normally only gets a little low if I have not eaten much in a day). Feeling tired and a bit grumpy (poor hubby), so maybe just coming down with something. I will not do anything silly but try not to get my hopes up.......maybe its twins...... just kidding!

It's not too early to get symptoms. This pg I have totally gone off coffee as well, haven't had a drop since I conceived. I'm not sure about the blood sugar thing. Early pg and nearly-AF symptoms are so similar that it's hard to tell even for an old-timer like me Fingers crossed though!

Thankyou, has anyone experienced implantation pain? whats it like? Got home this eve and felt a sharp pain (about 15cm down from belly button, slightly on left), enough to make me catch my breath and hold onto something for a few seconds? Its now like a little ache in the same place, for a couple of hours now, AF is not due for another 7 days or more? I know its probs nothing so am trying to remain calm and not get hopes up.

I got pregnant the first cycle after my m/c. Doc said many women are more fertile at this point and it is very common. My symptoms came up very early by way of feeling tired, sore nipples (not boobs) and very very randy (Sorry TMI). BFP came same day AF was due with one of those sensitive tests. Then had a massive rush of energy and motivation before ms kicked in. Fingers crossed for you big time. Blood pressure measured 90/40 when I fell and it usually sits at 120/80.

I had pains that the MW said were implantation pains. They were similar to AF pains but a little sharper and on my left side. We're all different I guess. Don't want to get your hopes up and I really hope you get the outcome you want.

Thankyou for your kind messages, I'm flying a bit blind as this would be my first and lost my mum a few years ago, so no one to ask! its so nice to speak to some real women who have experienced things unlike some doctors etc! Keeping fingers crossed.

Aw dotty I'm so sorry to hear that - I know how hard it is playing the waiting game each month after a miscarriage.

Hang in there. I m/c in October and only had two regular cycles between then and falling pg again. So without wanting to sound cliche - maybe it'll be your turn next month Here's hoping! Big hugs
