Ok I know there are a few of you who are dairy free at the mo, so do you miss it?? I am going to try for a while as I am having no end of probs with Han having a red bum. Thought it was nappy rash first, tried everything, went to Dr and told it was thrush so used anti-fungal. Now it looks like the thrush has gone (little red dots) and is just all red. Not from cloth nappies either cos I used disposables for a week or so and it was no different. Han is prob allergic to dairy which we found out a while a go when she was having one bottle of formula, so now thinking it could be from breastmilk. My MIL told me when she was still breastfeeding Daniels sister, if she ever had dairy the babies bottom got all red and burnt looking....
Worth a try I suppose, but I LOVE cheese, yoghurt, ice cream.... All worth it if it makes it better tho. Do you take any calcium supplements or anything as well? Thanks ladies

Gingernuts are dairy free too, even tho they have recently put on the label that they contain milk powder.
I don't have any biscuit recipes but I do have yummy banana cake and choc cake recipes if you want.

Oh and I used the Lifestream calcium supplement for Maya, its's a bit pricey but lasts ages. I just used to sprinkle it on her cereal and she couldn't even taste it.

I have a recipe for a dairy free apple cake, if anyone wants it? PM me and I'll send it to you. The final step is to pour melted butter mixed with cinnemon and sugar over the cooked cake, but that could be omitted if you want.

I attempted to go dairy free cos Jack has reflux but i realised That wud mean giving up chocolate and Jack doesn't seem too unhappy so i gave up that idea. Also i have no idea what has dairy in it.
