ok so i have had the flu the last few day's and still feeding ya me!. How ever Ems is getting really fussy on me and not settling well after feed's. I am sure she is getting enough, but could it be that my milk is lacking some fat content or taste strange due to being sick. I have been really enjoying feeding my little lady so reallly want to keep going any advice please?

If I'm tired, dehydrated or stressed I find that my boy gets fussy at the breast, so it could just be that she's picking up that you're not 100%? If that's the case then I guess the only advice is to relax and make sure you look after yourself first

(((Hugs))) Hope you get better soon!!
I have the flu aswell - its horrible I have to make sure I'm still drinking lots and trying to eat.
Maddi has been a real pain to feed, lots of little feeds and gets very grizzly feeding. Last night she ended up sick with high temperatures as well and didnt sleep at all, which probably was a big part of the reason shes been struggling to feed. At the moment we are both lying in bed and I'm trying to feed her as much as I can untill I get over the flu.
Try look after your self and get lots of rest, and Im sure it will come right.

are you letting her suckle for as long as she is "actively" sucking.....
Have you got any gripe water? I have given Brennan gripe water after I know he has had full feeds from both sides and is really irritable and wont settle.... and he does huge burps....which he doesnt do without it. He struggles and gets all upset with lower tum pains all the time..He is useless at farting and does a poo once every 5 days and that is a major drama!
I am hiring a hammock today...he has been asleep in the bean bag for ages..its all moulded..I think when they have bad lower wind lying on flat surface can make it painful whereas when they can kind of mold into a big soft something or bean bag they can get more comfy????
Hang in there...DRINK HEAPS AND EAT PORRIDGE AND ALMONDS..it wont be your milk.
