I have gotten myself a nasty cold and I so need to get rid of it fast. I have drinking lemsips and taking some cold and flu tablets but its not budging.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

You could try getting some Otrivin nasal spray. Doesn't make it go away as such, but it definitely works for the nasal congestion.

Otherwise, stick with the lemsips et al. They'll do the trick.... eventually.

Yeah try to get lots of rest, difficult I know with kids.

And keep up your fluids, apparently vitamin C can help reduce the symptoms faster too.

Three shots of Whiskey and then go to bed wearing a jumper, lots of blankets and a hot water bottle and let yourself sweat a little. Works for me every time.
