Hi folks
I see there's been several discussions about PCOS, and I just wondered if anyone else has faced this scenario...
I have PCOS and only have periods very occasionally. I started metformin in late '05 and it worked really well in giving me regular cycles. I had my wee girl in May 07. Now thinking about TTC #2 but my doctor doesn't recommend my going back on met while I'm still breastfeeding. I just do a wake up and bed time feed and I'm not in a rush to give them up as we both enjoy them, but equally I don't want to leave trying again too late!
Has anyone else had this dilemma and what did you do?
Thanks!

Sorry I haven't but I can see how it would be a hard decision. I guess you may need to sit down with your DH/DP and really discuss when you want another child, and if you can hold out a bit longer or really do need to stop breastfeeding now. So I'm guessing it took you a year of being on metformin to get pg? Cos I guess you would have to factor that time frame in too. Good luck
