Anyone get this? I've got a heavy ache in the centre of my chest, slightly to the left and it's been coming and going for a week. It is quite heavy today.

I have no other heart-related symptoms or referred pain, am just really tired and a bit dizzy.

Anyone else get this?

Excuses!

There are such things as taxis and work won't exactly care if you explain the problem and that you want to get checked out. Or if you don't want to pay for a taxi maybe someone from work might drive you.

I'll see what I can do.

I am low risk for heart issues - eat a good diet, am fit (ish), no extra weight etc. Just a little tired and a teeny bit stressed (ok, more than a teeny bit..!)

Don't stress Emma! You'll get chest pains too!

I used to get palpitations from time to time but had lots of tests done and was told it was totolly normal and not a sign of any health/heart issues. Apparently if they are infrequent and last less than 1 minute then they are no issue.

I will try to get to the doc. Ta!

I was at work with no car when I got ligament pains (in my leg / hip) that were so severe I couldn't walk properly - they paid for my taxi to the clinic and I told me not to worry about the "time off". It can't hurt to ask your boss anyway.

Sorry!

I think it is radiating from my back...my disks click a lot and I hold myself funny when stressed. Apparently it is common to get a pain in the centre of your chest when certain disks are out, it is kinda like a pinched nerve.

Nope but I carry my tension in my back so when DH (the lovely man he is) gives me a back rub there are lots of tense points. It doesn't hurt unless prodded though LOL. He also 'clicks' it for me...somtimes it sounds like my spine is made of popcorn!
