Ok for those with messy babies.

Sophia has just started having a few teaspoons of food but pretty much all of it ends up down the back of her bib or on her trousers, dress, tights etc

So today I washed her stained clothes twice in warm water with persil and a bit of nappysan thrown in and they are still filthy

What have I done wrong???

I don't remember this dilemma with ben but I guess all his clothes were darker being a boy and all hers are white with pink on..?

Help please ladies

Ugh, stains!
I battle with these constantly too.
I find scrubbing the stains as soon as I can with Sunlight soap (not the dishwashing liquid hehe) as this helps to break down the oils in the stain then tossing in the wash as normal (throwing in some Napisan, too).
If I know I can't do a load of washing for a while I throw them in a bucket of Napisan then washing without adding Napisan as soon as the machine is free.

Urgh, hate stains!

I usually bung the clothes in a bucket of napisan, then wash on cold, they seem to come out ok.

Oh and I saw these the other day and thought they looked great... look at the photo up the top of the page to see a baby wearing one... these bibs are huge!! Might be just what Sophia needs

I don't have one of those specifically, but I have similar ones...
Farmers and Baby Factory sell them, they're GREAT!!

Just don't let them set, get them off straight away an into the wash or a bucket to soak in for a latrer wash. Dry in direct sunlight if you can (material dependant) as it bleaches fantastically. But yeah, get a good, large bib to avoid wrecking clothes.

Normally if I do a hot wash with napisan and persil the stains will come out,if they;re really stubborn I use the Vanish oxyaction stain remover and they always come out. It's def the best stain remover I've found.

I usually stick mine starigh in a bucket of nappisan and soak it untill I next wash (only wash 2 days a week) Most of them seem to come out but for the odd stubborn stain I will often use a spray pre-spot stain remover.

Having a big bib makes clean up a lot easier and with Maddi at the moment I wrap her in a wrap that I dont mind getting dirty so that covers most of her clothes and her seat. Its not going to last long as she is already managing to get out of it.

Yeah, I always get better results from soaking in napisan at least overnight before washing..
