I'm sure I've seen bowls designed for toddlers which had suction cups on the bottom to stick them to the table. And they may have had some sort of lip on the top to help the toddler get the food onto the spoon too.
Any ideas what product I'm thinking of and where I can get it??

I thought most baby shops had those, but it's been a long time since I bought one I think ours probably came from Baby Factory?

Oh! I saw them the other day on http://www.babystuff.co.nz/proddetail.php?prod=stput&cat=111 - babystuff - they're tommee tippee brand so I guess they'd be in a lot of places

We have a couple of tommee tippee ones and they are very very picky about the type of surface they stick to. I think they are a waste of time.
We are just using a solid bunnykins bowl thats heavy and am teaching daniel not to throw it which is working and cause it's nice and solid it doesn't move around the place so makes it easy for him to use

I love Bunnykins, Keziah is getting a set for her birthday from her Nan
At the moment we're not using a bowl for the reason that as soon as she gets it it'll end up on the floor and probably still with whatever she's eating....in it

We bought one of them tommee tippee ones from baby factory. My boy unstuck it and threw it on the floor
They are good in that they don't slide around, but if you have a toddler who wants to unstick it and throw it on the floor, they'll be able to!

Yep, I was dismayed to find that A ripped her melamine bunnykins suction plate straight off the highchair the first time I used it.
it's cute though

We used a Tommee Tippee suction bowl for a while, but don't bother with the seal anymore and just use the bowl along with a variety of other bits and pieces. Her current favorite plate is one shaped like Minnie Mouses head!
Am quite liking the Tupperware stuff too atm.
