I have called a whole bunch of stores and they all have such different ideas that I'm a tad confused!
Basically I don't have a drivers liscence (Arrgghh!!) and rely on both Taxi's and very generous friends to transport my daughter (9 months old) and me around. (when we're not on the bus).
I need a carseat that's easy to transport from car to car. My daughter is 9 months so I don't think it's too much of a problem having forward facing at this stage.
What would you recommend? Any feedback is more than appreciated!

I don't know that any of them are I have the guardian safe n sound carseat but it sure is awkward at times to move around. I guess you just do what ya have to do.
So... when's your licence booked?

Well....I have just got my learners which was a big move for me. I saw a nasty accident when I was young and I have a very real fear of driving. I have had half a doazen lessons and it always ends in tears. Me getting my liscence would be like winning the lotto. I am trying to take the pressure off myself a bit at the moment and work out ways that I can live without it rather than worry so much about the fact I don't have it. Maybe I'll just become a buggy pusher and bus rider all of the time rather than some of the time!!

I have a evenflo car seat and its rather simple to move between cars and also doesn't require a tether strap. i got it from Farmers and think it was $160 on sale.
