I have two bags of special baby and toddler clothes that I'd kept from when my daughter was younger (shes nearly 10 now). Last night I decided to move them from the bags in the bottom of my wardrobe to one of those plastic storage bins.

Anyways, all of the clothing in one of the bags has mould on it. I have no idea how it happened as the other bag was fine along with everything else in the wardrobe. DP wasn't overly sympathetic though I got a bit tearful.

I put them all though the machine last night, then into a tub of napisan overnight.

Any other ideas on how to get them clean??

Has the mould come off in the wash/soaking with napisan? We get mould on stuff here every once in a while from all the humidity, mainly our winter stuff which we never wear! I just get everything drycleaned periodically but I think that would be a bit tough with baby clothes .... but washing in the machine has generally worked for me. Then hang on the line in the sunshine to dry thoroughly.

Unfortunately the napisan doesn't seem to be helping. I had them in it from last night though to this afternoon when I made up a new solution and put them back in.

There are little black spots and a yellowish stain to varying degrees on different items of clothing.

Today I put everything else though the machine and hung them in the sun.
