Probably the dumbest question of all time, but how is Clomid pronounced?
Is it Clow-mid (rhymes with flow)
or
Clomm-mid (rhymes with from)
or a different way entirely?

Hi ladies, I have just been given Clomid and will start next cycle. Would be keen to hear any stories from any of you who have used clomid. How long have you been on it, did you concieve, any side effects, how long were your trying pre clomid, pre clomid could you just not concieve, or miscarry etc. I am keen to start clomid but have soo many questions. Looking forward to the replies.

Hi Bree,
I conceived on my first month of using clomid, but we unfortunately mcd at week 9 The pills made me feel a bit tired, a bit hormonal but nothing too bad. It was just all the blood tests that I didn't like!

Hi - well I took my last Clomid on Sunday night. Took at nights so no side effects at all - maybe a bit thirsty very dry mouth - but unsure if this is related or not. Dont feel any different at all...I have a blood test on Thursday CD10 - so I guess this tells me when I will ovulate and when to BD? Not really sure what happens next....
Sorry to hear of your mc Jakinty? Was this your first pregnancy? I've been trying for 1 year, 3 mc at 10 wks and 2 at 5 wks. This is my first cycle of clomid....
Are you now on clomid? How are things going for you?

Yup, it was my first pregnancy, trying since March, lap in June for endo, fell pregnant in July, found no heartbeat at scan at 9 weeks :(
have to wait until Jan to go back onto the clomid, don't even know if we want to try again at the moment. it's a bit of a rollercoaster!
in terms of BD, your specialist or doctor should have told you when to try???? we got a very specific plan!

Hi there, I'm about to start on this in the morning, so fingers crossed for this cycle! been trying since Jan, had 2 mc's at 6 weeks, keep pushing my chin back up and carrying on! I heard it can cause multiple births? how common is that?

Hi Dotty - good luck. I have just had my first cycle of Clomid 50mg, taken day 2-6. I took just before bed - no side effects at all. Went for blood test at CD10 and estrogen levels 2000. Next day had scan and 5 follicals so we were told not to try this month as too high risk of multiple births. So next month clomid again but reducing to 25mg. I am CD 22 now, unsure when/if I ovulated as I have irregular cycles! We've been trying for 1 year, first mc at 10 wks and 2 mc at 5 wks. Its hard, but fingers crossed for all of us ladies here for BFP. Keep me posted on how you go on the clomid. Is this yoru first?

Hi
I am currently preggers with a clomid baby, conceived on my second cycle - I was on clomid because about 3 months after coming off the pill my AF stopped, it appears the pill was what kept it going - therefore I wasn't ovulating. I had to have proveria to induce AF and then clomid, I took it at night and didn't have any real symptoms. All I had was day 21 bloods to see if it was working, which it didn't the first cycle and only just the second cycle - but thats all it took . Best of luck to all ladies on clomid

Hi ladies,
I am new to this site and it is really great to be able to read your stories and see other people are out there going through the same things.
My DH and I have been TTC for No.1 for 1 year now. I am 34 and he is 38. I am due to do a 2nd cycle of clomid next month, last month on my first cycle I had 3 follicles so was told to skip that month. Quite a frusturating moment. Eggs are there for the taking but can't do anything about it!
Been an up and down process this baby making. Spent so many years avoiding pregnancy but when we want it to happen mother nature is making us have a bit of a wait.
Good luck to you all

Hi Flipsta
Welcome to ohbaby!
Like you I have been ttc for 9 months now, 1st mc end of March so I 'should' be due soon! bugger it!
2nd MC a few months ago, so I'm with you! it sure is a rollercoaster after trying so hard not to get pregnant for years! I never thought it would be this hard!
At least we can just keep up the practising!

Hi flipsta, welcome. this site is great - helped me lots! Like you 1 year of TTC. i am 31, DH 32 on Fri. Had 3 confirmed mc this year and possible another 1 unconfirmed. Took first cycle clomid last month and 5 follicals - told to not try between CD10 and CD18 which we didnt. Prob is I dont know if I have or when I ovulated. Like you was a bit bummed I had eggs but not allowed to TTC. However CD29 now and no sign of AF although some PMS signs, whch can be BFP signs. Part of me (well all of me) is soo hoping for a BFP as just getting soo many BFN is really disheartning! Did they reduce your clomid for next cycle. Where are you at now... I wish you all the luck in the world.

Hey there,
Thanks for your stories
Wow 5 follicles! That is amazing. You are definitely responding well to the pills then. Dotty, sorry I am not completely clued up on all the acronyms what is MC?
Bree are you on a fully monitored cycle? I had to go get a blood test on Tuesday to confirm I did ovulate which I did so that is good news. Onto this month now!
DH and I are a little bit worried/excited cause we baby danced on the Saturday (Day 10) and then I had the scan done on Sunday (Day 11) and that is when we found the 3 follicles so if I ovulated that day or day after there is still a chance of getting pregnant. Will know next week when I am due for AF. Bit scared of triplets...sheeesh!
I know what you mean about the BFN's Bree it is vey disappointing each month seeing that. Really tugs at the emotions.
I wish you both loads of luck too.

Well ladies this is turning out to be one of those yucky old days.
Feeling quite down about the whole baby thing. Sod it all!
I have a very good friend who is pregnant and she was telling me all about her scan and I battle with feeling totally over the moon for her and really jealous. Just makes me feel really awful feeling like that with someone who is really close to you. I would never tell her that obviously but just makes me feel like a bad friend you know?
Anyway, the ups and downs of TTC huh.
See ya later

Im just waiting on a specialist appt (Been TTC for 1 year with no success). I know what you mean it's really hard watching everyone else around you having babies and trying to be happy on the outside and trying your best not to burst into tears! Don't get me wrong.. I am really happy for them, but on the other side I can't help the "Why not me? questions...
To make it worse, I'm the youngest person where I work (Lol 28 years old!), and a lot of my workmates have kids my age! I am constantly being asked "are you pregnant yet?", "when are you having babies?", "I had had all my children by the time I was your age!" Still I guess they're not to know...
Am hopefully starting clomid when I get to see the specialist... G.p agrees its the best option but she wants to leave it to the experts which seems fair enough to me....
Still, it will be our turn soon, we just HAVE to keep believin it

Hi Mindy,
I was the same as you. DH and I have been trying for a year and went to fertility doc for the first time in October and they put us on clomid.
It will all come together for us! This damn roller coaster takes us all over the place.
Don't you love people at work that do that? At work last Friday one guy is watching with eagle eyes what I drink...it is like sod off would you!
Let us know how you go. All the very best

Why do people think that they have a right to intrude in our lives? Thats what i love about this site! People actually know how I feel because they are gong/ have gone through it too!
How did you get on at your first appt? Did they put you on clomid that day or did you have to wait? I haven't had an ultrasound yet, but am really hoping to move forward quickly with things! Tired of waiting!
|

Oh I know the whole waiting thing is totally frusturating.
We went to fertility doc because after 9 months of trying we decided to get checked. I am 34 and DH is 38. My hubby had two sets of swimmer tests done a month apart and his doc said the motility and morphology were quite low so we rang Fertility Associates and had to wait for a month to see them. Once there the doc said that he was happy with his results, did a scan on me and was happy with that and thought clomid would be a good option before going down an IVF path.
He put it down to an unexplained infertility situation.
We were thinking we would go in and it would be all bad news so that was quite positive.
I was lucky enough that my period was due within a day or so of the appointment so I could start the clomid straight away although I had too many follicles last month so am on 25mg this month to see if I can get just 2 follicles.
When is your appointment?
Love to hear how it all goes.

How frustrating! All that work to get the follicles and then get told you have too many!
Um my G.P only referred me yesterday.. so I'm guessing it will be a little while away. Dr said that she referred someone else last week and they got an appt for beginning of Dec. Fingers crossed!
I will def keep you posted, keep me posted with yours too Good luck

Totally frusturating!
I was like let's go for it but DH had to do the practical male thing and say you really want the risk of triplets.......yeah ok then that would be pretty huge so onto this month.
That time will fly.
Especially at this time of year and your appointment will be here before you know it.
Wishing you lots of speedy days and good luck

Hahaaaaa!
yeah that is definitely something to have a giggle about.
After all the poking and proding us ladies have to go through it is like get over it and get that sample sorted
We had to get a sample to the medlab on a saturday so I said to him umm do you want me to help or you want me to leave you alone. He wanted to be left alone so I said I would take the dog for a walk but i was dithering about cause it was about to rain and I could see him getting stressed and then he said would you just hurry up!! ok ok i said and quickly took the dog out......then we were cruising down the motorway and he had forgotten to write the time on the little jar so he had to fish it out of his jeans and pass me the bottle to write on it....oh we laughed and laughed.

hi ladies how is everyone going. I had bloods today and estrogen 600. Not sure what that represents, except last month was 2000 estrogen level and 5 follicals. I have a scan tomorrow tosee how many follicals and if we can try this month. Just a bit down today - I really feel like this is never going to happen!!

Good luck with the scan today. Love to know how it all goes.
Dotty, bizarre about the ovulation? I have read that the clomid does sometimes play around with our cycles. Am sure it will happen, might just be a bit late.
I am due for blood test on Friday so hopefully a scan will happen over the weekend. Hoping for just the 2 follicles this month.
Take care.

Hi
No still waiting, the dr said she would send the referral that day, though last time a dr said that she would send a referral for a scan I went back to her about 2 months later to find the referral was never sent! (Again this wasn't my usual G.P- though different one to the last one I saw). I will never go back to her, here I was upset about fertility troubles and she was stroking her pregnant tummy the whole time- though I don't think shw was aware that she was doing it, I'll give her the benefit of the doubt......
Might give specialists a ring to see if they recieved referral on about Wed if I haven't heard anything. Dont want to be pushy but got burned last time.... DH going to sort out his tests this week.
How are things with you?

We rang up and made the appointment ourselves and then just took a referral letter along with us.
Good idea to give them a call cause you may find you can actually do it yourself?
Oh great that DH is getting his tests done. It isn't that great for guys but once it is done it is done so fingers crossed on that.
I had a bit of a bad day last week getting all down about things and frusturated but managed to get out of that and back on track now. Roller coaster of a ride this trying to get pregnant stuff.
Get blood test on Friday for Day 10 of my cycle to see if I need to get a scan done so fingers crossed this month we don't have to skip trying again.....waiting waiting
Good luck with that appointment. Love to hear how it all goes

I fobbed it off all night saying "I'd rather have a puppy" which of course we know that is way further from the truth, however wasnt about to explain it to them! Hi all - scan this morning and I have one follical which I think they said was 12mm. my estrogen level 600. A couple of other little follical looking things but he mentioned something about maybe polysistic ovaries - i've never been told this before. When I asked further questions I didnt really get answers (was a diff specialist doing the scan). Anyway, he then said I need another scan on Wed to see how they are going and if too many follicals then wont be able to try again this month - but then he said that my levels and the one follical looking good. So I really dont know where I am at. My DH and Iare going to BD every morning and night and fingers crossed - i really are getting desperate

keep me posted and good luck!! I assumed on clomid you automatically ovulated? Now I am concerned that I might not ovulate and then wonder what the next stage is ie if you dont ovulate what can they do - or is this then IVF??
Have you confirmed ovulation yet??

Yes I believe it does help with ovulation so I am sure it is fine. I have read that cycles can get a bit out of whack on clomid.
Have you always ovulated no problems each month?
I did confirm ovulation last month. Had a test done just like you are going to soon.
Don't worry there is plenty they can do if you have problems with ovulation. Have read a bit about it on the net....as you do!
Good luck with the baby dancing and try not to worry about the ovulation side of things, I am sure it is totally fine.

Yah Flipsta - enjoy the BD! What CD are you? I am CD18 today but had some EWCM so maybe late OV? i have never monitored signs of OV etc, so just starting on this now. With this cycle of clomid they said to BD CD11 to 18 which we did - but now thinking I didn't OV then!?

Hi guys, first cycle of clomid 25mg (2 mc's in past). Didn't move ovulation forward at all, so still CD 19/20, had bloods for hcg and progesterone today, no hcg, pro in 60's, CD 27. Doesn't look like its my month. I give up.

Hi Dotty, sorry to hear although it's not over just yet! I personally think the first cycle of clomid is a bit of trial and error - you dont know how you will individually react. My first cycle 50mg gave me 5 follicals so we werent allowed to try. This cycle 25mg and 2 follicals. Unsure if/when I ovulated, but having bloods on Thursday which I guess will confirm ovulation?? your prog level being 60 - is this good or bad? Sorry this is new to me. My CD have been 28 - 37 so I am hopefully you will still get the result you are after. How many follicals did you have? What has your specialist suggested?

Not sure about follicles? how do they test for that?!
I just had urine ovulation tests for about 12 days, I seem to ovulate on about day 19/20, with my last 2 misscarriages I found out I was preggers on about day 34, hcg about 12, I am CD27 today (only a week past ovulation) so it wouldn't even show yet, going by the last pregnancies. But won't get hopes up as it hurts too much. Progesterone go's up after ovulation and holds a pregnancy till hcg kicks in (I think) If it drops too early it can cause a misscarriage (which is why they are testing me), if no pregnancy it drops away and you know what shows up.......

Hi Dotty, I took clomid CD2-6 then CD10 had a blood test and CD11 a scan. The blood test showed my estrogen levels, the scan showed the size of my and how many follicals and also showed my endometrium lining was thickening which they said was all good as looked like I would ovulate in a few days. That is when they said to BD CD11 - CD18. I have another blood test this Thur to see if I ovulated. Are you having clomid through a specialist of GP?

Hey Bree,
I am on CD15 so the last 4 days have been full on BDing as my cycles are usually around 24-29 days.
I am pretty sure I ovulated as my CM was really noticeable and I never paid attention to that stuff before trying to get pregnant.
Dotty, I was the same as Bree. First cycle I had too many follicles so they halved my dosage to 25mg and I only got 2 this month. It is frusturating but it ain't over yet and best of luck with the 25mg.
I had my scan on Saturday to see how many follicles were there and I was thinking come on give me 2 eggies not 3!. Bit nervous but got there in the end.
I am trying also to not get my hopes up as no guarantees. Hard though

Hi Ladies, well blood test today confirmed ovulation - I now have to wait 10 days and if no AF then I have to have preg blood test - fingers crossed..... Think we might BD a few more days as still a bit of CM....
Apparently my prog level was 127...again no idea what this means.
How is everyone else doing?

Hey Bree - I am not sure how they read the prog result but last cycle my result was 3.4 and they said that I 'possibly did not ovulate' - However this cycle my result was 40.3 which they said that I 'had' ovulated....

Help! I did a preg test at about 3 pm, thought it was negative and chucked it in bin, I have just had another look......just in case.......... and there is a positive line?! I had a look through the bin and found an old one from the begining of the week (same make) and there is no line. I know some dry out and get a line after 24 hours or so but this one (the negative one) is still negative, and today one has a positive!? I have blood in the morning anyhow but how will I sleep now?!

Hi Bree, not really anything new. I had my blood tests on the 2nd day of the clot cycle (Sorry TMI) and on 2nd day of AF flow which started day after clots Just my luck
quite a significant change in the estrodiol within the 2 days though which surprised me. just counting down til the 21 day progesterone test and my appt with specialist on the 22nd.
My G.P was certain that i would be started on the clomid when i see the specialist which is why im lurking on here trying to learn as much as i can before i see the Dr, so DH and I can have informed conversation with him and and I can get my questions ready for him

Some lovely news here! A huge congrats Dotty that is such wonderful news.
How cool.
Hey not long now Mindy till your appointment it will be here quick smart.
I just had a blood test this morning to see if I ovulated so waiting for the call today on that and am due for AF next Tuesday so I am really hoping it does not come along!
Bree great news you ovulated! All good stuff. You and I are in the TWW right now and I am trying really hard to not get my hopes up but it is damn hard!!

Hey Flipsta - yes lets hope you ovulated and join me in the TWW.... it was great to know I ovulated but now I am just struggling to see if I am preg! Boobs a bit sore, but I also think I am thinking this!!

Hey Bree, yeah I am totally the same! Get some twinges in my belly and I am thinking Oooo I wonder what that is... probably just trapped wind!
My boobs are a bit tender too but I usually get that just before AF arrives. Symptoms are similar aren't they to pregnancy so is damn hard to know what is going to happen next week..a BFP or AF!
I did ovulate so that is great. The wait is on and I am trying really hard to keep my feet on the ground. Not easy at all!
I am not sure what my prog levels were actually I forgot to ask.
Hey Dotty did you get many or any symptoms before your test?

I am really sorry to hear Bree.
I know it is so damn frusturating and emotionally plays with our heads big time.
Don't give up though hun
It will happen for you. Mother nature can be cruel sometimes.
I am on the wait now. Am CD27 so AF is due at any time. I have been telling myself I am going to get it just so I don't get too disappointed when it arrives. Although I know I will sill be disappointed anyway!
Keep that chin up aye. Will keep you posted on the next couple of days.

Oh dear. Felt like crying before but I am at work so don't really want to do that. Went out and had a coffee with Mum on my lunchbreak and vented some frusturation!!!
Feel much better now. Am not going to let this beat me!!! Sick of that gutting feeling each month. It is Xmas time and summer is on it's way!!!
Let's keep those positive vibes going aye. For all of us. Our times will come. Am really positive of that

Hey I was thinking perhaps a few nice stories might help boost our spirits a bit. I have a few friends that have gone through IVF and other things to get their BFP's.
One set of friends took 18 months to get their 2nd baby. They have a gorgeous girl now.
Another set of friends have been trying for 10 years to have kids. She had an ectopic pregnancy and nearly died and is now on another round of IVF. Boy am I hoping it works for them!
My brother-in-law took a year to conceive their girl. She is 10 mths old now and such a cutie.
Another lot of friends took 3 years to get pregnant.
and now have a lovely baby girl.
It is hard going on this roller coaster. So it is really lovely to be able to share and chat with you guys to help keep the spirits lifted.
Take care.

Well I am out of the running ladies.
AF arrived in the wee hours of this morning.
expletive, expletive, expletive!!!!!!!
So Bree I am with you hun! I tell you what, a couple of wines are going to be had tonight. Sod it!
Are you feeling a bit better now?
Contemplated having a month off TTC but think will give another round of clomid a shot. We were to try 3 months of it and if no luck back to the doc so may as well give it a last shot.
Ah dear. Disappointed big time so bring on this month!
Mindy, I had a friend who would spot between periods and is now pregnant. She was on the pill non-stop for 10 years so she NEVER had a period in that time and I was really worried it would have affected her body but no, 6 mths later she was pregnant. The body is a bizarre thing.
Wouldn't it be great if it would tell us what is going on though!
Hope everyone else is doing well!

GRRRR!!! Flipsta I'm so so sorry!
Have t hose wines hun and gear up again for next month!
I'm wondering if whats happening is ovulation bleeding thought there is no obvious pain in either particular side.
I've had a bit of a strange day actually.. hungry but couldnt bring myself to eating breakfast or morning tea...had hot drinks though, had dizzy spells between morning tea and lunch and headachy.
Now I'm sitting here feeling nauseaus(sp?) maybe ate too much dinner and mild stomach cramps again....
Certainly hope i'm not getting a tummy bug

Flipsta sorry to hear AF showed up. i am feeling much better today, so I hope in a couple of days you will be as well. i def had a few days feeling very very sorry for myself and like I was the worst in the whole world. But reality has set in now and I figure that next month we will be testing around Xmas time...so could be a fantastic pressie! Lets hope you and I both!!
This is my 3rd cycle of clomid as well - so fingers crossed for us both! What dossage are you on?
Like you we thought of taking this month off, but decided we will do a 3rd cycle and see what happens! I am going (to try!!) and relax a bit more, enjoy the odd drink over the festive time and go back to doing my sport - which I have stopped for most of this year to try and concieve. So am going to try and not have pregnancy as the sole focus!
We will see how easy that is!?!?
Today my DH and I purchased our first investment property - so just mortgaged ourselves up (we did budget for baby though!!). We have been putting off purchasing an investment property all year thinking we would become parents, so murphy's law - we purchase a house and get pregnant! I'm hoping!!

Hey there, thanks guys
I went to the pub at lunchtime yesterday and had two wines and fish & chips...cheered me up!
Feel much better today.
Hey when are you due to test Mindy? It could well be bleeding due to ovulation. Hmmm. Well lets hope those symptoms are preggie symptoms!!
Glad you are feeling better Bree. It does take a day or two aye to just let yourself feel crappy and then climb back onboard again.
I am on 25mg so start taking it tonight. Yeah let's hope number 3 cycle is the one for us huh!
DH and I are the same. Going to enjoy a few drinks and just take some time out and have fun over Xmas and NY. Relax and enjoy!
I think the exercise thing is great, keeps the mind off stuff and helps keep ya fit too. I am trying to keep up a fitness regime and I am planning on entering some events over summer so I am not just holding out on waiting to get pregnant. Who the heck knows when that will happen so may as well carry on as normal and then adjust as necessary.
Easier said than done sometimes though I know

Hey Mindy, I am the same. My AF was so heavy on Tuesday and yesterday but today is nearly finished!
Crazy stuff.
Hey that is lovely of you to say hun Yours and others words and support on this forum really help though. I have found now I get angry when AF comes along not feelings of dispair...crickey bit scarey really what this whole pregnancy roller coaster can do ;)]
but I guess there is only so much baby dancing one can partake in!
and the rest is out of our hands.
All my fingers and toes are crossed for you Mindy.

Hi flipsta, i'm good. Have just finished 3rd cycle of clomid so blood test on Monday. The last few days though I have felt not 100%, not sick, just had all the symptoms I have around ovulation, ie wet not EWCM but CM/wet, lower back ache, pain in my left ovary at times and other times across my lower abdomin. I was going to ring FA, but guess they cant really do anything so have just thought I'll try ignore it! I also get a certain smell around ovulation time and notice this again! Given I am CD7 unsure it's ovulation!!! Who knows?
Hope you are well.

Hi Flipsta - let me know how the blood test went! i soo hope we both get BFP for Xmas - that would really top of a crappy 2008 for me!!
update from me. Had my CD11 scan today following bloods yest and I have 4 big follicals so FA expect ovulation in the next day or two. BUT we have been told not to try this month as risk of more than one baby! I am soo in two minds. This is our third month of clomid first month 5 follicals, not allowed to try, last month 3 follicals tried and nothing no BFP and this month 4 follicals and not allowed to try. As well as it costing each month to do clomid whether we are allowed to try or not, its still an expense! I am really keen to try, it is a 1% chance of 4 babies, 5% chance of triplets and 20% chance of twins - IF we do concieve. Given with 3 follicals all good size last month we still didnt concieve I think we should try.....whats your opinion?? DH keen as well!
Another ?! Sorry if this is TMI. Last month we BD every day around ov - missed one day only and still nothing. Given the first time we concieve (ended inmc) I was on the pill..I thought BD daily would be good, but it still didnt work. Should we BD more? My poor DH as much as he wants a baby (even more than me!) he finds the "pressure" to perform hard and doesnt help this weekend he has a big race (triathlon) so he's really not in the best frame to BD - BUT does want a baby.
Last month after BD I would lie flat on my back - unsure if this makes any diff as normally I am up off to the loo - but (sorry TMI) a lot drops out? Does anyone else have this??I am worried we are loosing all the sperm! Appreciate any tips!!
Have a lovely day

Hey Bree,
We had 3 follicles first time around and I was keen to try even though they told us to skip it but DH wasn't keen. Worried about triplets! So they halved my dose to 25mgs and that seems to be good.
If you are both keen I would probably go for it. I mean it is a small percentage of chance to get 4 or 3 and if you are cool with that then that is great. Like you say you tried with 3 and it didn't happen so you never know.
On the BDing I think the swimmers do need time to rejeuvenate so doing it too much doesn't really help I dont' think. Once a day is fine I think. We were told to try for 4 days in a row once we get our scan last month.
I knew I was ovulating last month due to lots of CM so we actually tried twice in one day and we still didn't conceive either!
I personally think it is best to not get too worn down with it or it will really start to become a chore. Once a day for a few days around OV time is all good.
I do the whole wait in bed for 30 mins and even put my legs up last time! I think waiting for a while before going to the loo gives the sperm a chance to get in and up the fallopian tubes.
I so hope we get an Xmas BFP as well. You have had a huge year and that would be really cool to end it with that.
Ah dear oh to have a crystal ball huh!

I do the same guys, after BDing (you know in the olden days I would never be talking about this) I lie with a cushion under my hips to prevent spillage for about 30mins..... though last couple of times I've fallen asleep. fingers crossed this starts working!

How did your blood test go Flipsta? Bree how are you doing? Been thinking bout you ladies....
Well, I'm not really sure how I'm going Feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment...
DH finally made a deposit of his 'boys', will find out the results of those on 22nd at our appt with FA.
Last two days though I've had really sore breasts, like sharp pains and achey. I was in the elevator at work day before yesterday and felt 'motion sick' while going up 3 floors, then once I got out of the elevator and walking it felt like the floor was waving up and down for a minute or so....awful feeling- like a rolling earthquake but noone else seemed to notice it! Very strange have had strange light headed moments too which is making it awfully hard to concentrate on what people are saying to me at times. Annnd very tired!- though I've picked up an extra shift at work, which I wouldn't think would do it!
Sooo I took a HPT yesterday at what I think was ?10DPO- presuming that when I had those cramps and mid cycle bleeding that that was due to ovulation. BFN
Now I'm sitting here confused, disappointed and achy boobs (though not as bad as yesterday)
Sorry for Loooong story!!!

Hey Mindy, sorry you are feeling rubbish hun
It is still early days though so don't get disheartened by the BFN. How many stories have we read about BFN's but it was just too early to test. So definitely ain't over just yet!
When are you due for AF?
Do you normally get sore boobs, etc. when period due?
I always get sore boobs and sore tum before AF.
I had a scan this morning and I have got two fat follicles so i should be ovulating any day now so it is all on for DH and I this weekend. Fingers crossed. Won't know until New Years though so going to try and relax and just enjoy Xmas until then....will be hard though!
Bree, did you and DH try this month in the end?
