I'm so excited!
We FINALLY got our flooring redone in the kitchen and dining areas.
There's a still a few bits and bobs we wanna do (replacing the boarding between the cupboard doors and the floor and handles on everything), but this is pretty much it!
I it!

Before (we already took the furniture, whiteware out)

During

VOILA!! After

Sorry, so happy, just had to share

It looks great - and not having carpet in the dining room is a good move.

So I'm guessing your oven escaped the rain?

I concur as I glance down at the kumara, milk, chunks of cruskits and random other stains under the highchairs.

It's all so pretty.

That looks great!  I love the shade you've used, it's made everything look brighter and new.

I definitely agree that it was a great idea to go with easy to clean up floors in the dining area.  You're brave having wine glasses and bottles down that low

Hey question chick, did you get the stick-down stuff or the click-together stuff IYKWIM? Ooo I have kitchen envy now, I so want to just rip my lino up and sand back our floorboards but DH won't let me until we get insulation next year

Posted By: BugTeeny
Date Posted: 25 September 2008 at 2:43pm
It's vinyl planking. So it's still stuck down, but separate pieces, IYKWIM.
