Starts on Sunday.  We started shifting Michaela's routine by 15 mins today so on Sunday when the clocks change she'll only be out by 15 mins and Monday she'll be at the "normal times" again.

Do you slowly shift the routine or do you just go with the flow and hope for the best?

Hmm had forgotten about daylight savings. I think Im just going to stick with the routine we have at them moment for Keira, she seems to be waking at 6:30 I'n summer we are usually busy in the evening so she ends up going to bed a bit later in summer.

I'm still working on getting maddi into any sort of routine, Im usually lucky if shes in bed 10

Yay - love daylight saving, long nights and sleep ins Summers finally on its way!!!! Now just bring on the sunshine.

I don't do anything different. Never have. My kids seem to handle D/S really well. Me on the other hand!

Our girls have been waking at 6 instead of 7 for the last couple of weeks so we are just going to run with it. They basically are adjusting themselves. I try to make the meals on the Saturday before d/s at closer to the "new time" but this time I think I'll just go cold turkey and see what happens.

Hannah has been telling me that she doesn't want her time changed and that "it's just an idea for if you want to do it or not". I don't think she properly understood when I said that would just be confusing with everyone on different times!

LOL at Hannah T.  I wish we got to choose.  I'd constantly be shifting the time so I got more sleep ins.

Not so sure that my gradual shifting is going to work this year as I just heard a little someone knocking on her door

My boy has been doing this too! So I'm excited 5.30am will now be the much more reasonable time of 6.30am... we'll just go cold turkey.

They've also been so exhausted by 6pm that it should work out well from next week.

I am going with the flow too but know I am going to have a very grumpy child for a week.

I am going to be grumpy too - I have to get up at 5am each day so it will technically be 4am until I get used to it

Lockie has been waking around 6.30am for the last week also instead of his normal 7.30am ish. Daylights saving approached so fast that I forgot anyway. Think will just go with it and see what happens.

Liam on the other hand, will be interesting but I am sure he will be fine. He usually wakes about 5.30am although this morning was 6am so a bit of a sleep in although technically we loose an hour to begin with anyway. Roll on summer. You have to love the warm weather.

Yeouch, Georgia! I won't complain about Ella's early wakings now after yours!

So are the clocks changing tonight or tomorrow? How on earth did I miss this?!?

We've always just rolled with it too. Ashlee has been waking up earlier and earlier for the past couple of weeks so we're welcoming the time change!

Ta, Neeks
Hmmm, Ella's been waking earlier so I suppose she's getting ready for it anyway. Bummer about missing an hour's sleep... dag nab it! But it'll be great once we're into it.

I'm thinking tomorrow is going to be a mess in our place. Keira has only just gone to bed at 8:30 so for her to get a good nights sleep I want her to at least sleep untill 8 which will atcually be 9 and then we are supposed to be out
