Does anyone use this formula? Any pros or cons? Ems has been on breastmilk from birth but now we are starting to supplement her feeds with her a bottle of formula in the evenings. At the moment using the karicare from birth sachets but using them all the time will get quite expensive, and buying a big tin would not be economical given we will only be giving Ems one bottle a day so would end up having to throw it out before it expires. I've found the Farleys tin the supermarket which is half the size of the karicare tins, so would be more likely to finish the whole tin before it expires. Are there any other BFing mums who give their baby at least 1 formula feed a day, and what have you found to be the most economical way to buy the formula? Cheers

Me neither. You used to be able to get SMA in small tins but that was years ago, I don't know if they still make it.

Otherwise you could buy the big tins, write the date you open it on the top of the tin and when it gets to the four weeks mark make whats left in the tin up and freeze it.

I have just started to give Libby 1 formula feed in the early evening and was buying the sashets too but decided it was still cheaper to by a tin and then if need be throw the excess away. But after reading what emma said I will just make it up then freeze it.
