Is there any parents out there that are currently or have dealt with Talipes Equino-Varus (Congenital Club Foot) with their child?

both my girls had positional club foot. Luckily it righted itself without intervention. Although my youngest is very pigeon toed when she walks as was i when i was young. I think it is genetic in our family too. But i think ours is more a hip thing. Anyway i havent taken her to the doctor yet but i know she will be getting a refferal to an orthopeadic surgen. My girl's foot was first diagnosed as positional by the Labour Ward's physio and baby doctor, however after seeing the ortho specialist he said it wasn't positional it was structural. The heel bone isn't in the correct place and part of the ankle is dislocated. | my feet were facing inwards when i was little. i had to have an operation when i was four to stretch the tendons on my left foot (and was in a cast for 6 weeks) but my right one sorted itself out. it didnt affect me at all either, i was up walking at 9 months. |
