In my browser without paying for a software programme?

I *think* I would like to block a site I use quite often for my own sanity as I feel it does more harm than good. Note: it's not dodgy or anything, you can probably even guess what the site is

I know I don't have the willpower as I have 'met' a lot of lovely people, but hmm I don't know maybe the bad outweighs the good?

Or maybe I just want a rant, I'm sick of everything at the moment, being told what I can and can't do, how to do this and that, or to sit down and shut up because my opinions don't matter.

Maybe I'm just having a bad day/week/month (lol its only 1 Oct, not a good omen for the next 30 days then!)

What would you do? And please, this is not a b*tch session, I just want a rant and some HELPFUL advice.

Without getting into why you want to block a particular site, I know that you can do it without software.

Go to INTERNET OPTIONS - CONTENT tab - then CONTENT ADVISOR - ENABLE - and you can set to block any site you like

Thanks Bel, will do in the next couple of days. I figure if I want to post I can at Mums on a Sunday, then can reassess when I'm feeling a bit more positive about the whole thing.
