Does anyone have any ideas to help babies cope with the taking off and landing in anaeroplane?

Are you breast feeding? The best option is to let them suckle but otherwise a bottle is good too though it runs out quicker

So long as they are sucking they will be fine. I have just come back form Oz and was talking to the girl int he row of seats next to me and she had no idea so I had to tell her.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Little finger in the mouth worked when Daniel didn't want to BF. That said, on one landing we did nothing, and he was absolutely fine.

We had dummies if needed. However both girls were quite happy landing and taking off without anything.

How old is bubs? Wouldn't suggest the finger trick if they are teething.. my girl had her two bottom teeth when we flew for the first time so I wasn't going there LOL

Dummy works good too, just make sure it's attached to bubs some how cause if they 'spit the dummy' and it goes on the floor of the plane.. you'll be searching for eons
