Hi everyone,

I have an op for endometriosis scheduled for next week, but I think I could be pregnant. My partner and I BD'd twice while I would have been fertile... My period isn't due until the week after next, so don't think any tests will show a result as yet. Would my specialist be able to tell by doing an exam at this early stage?
Thanks in advance for your help!

They will do a pregnancy test before the op, so they may have a test that can pick it up early.

I'd let them know that there is a change you could be pg before just to make them aware even though like Becks said, they will probably do a pg test.

Good luck

I'd let them know and they could do bloods the day before your op, that way if there is any hormone in your blood it will show (as levels might be too low to show on a pee test)

I've had my op - it was the second one in three months to check for recurrence of endo. But there was none! So happy! :)
I did have a blood test beforehand and it was negative. My partner - who didn't really seem up for kids, looked disappointed when I told him it was negative, and thinks he may have changed his mind about kids!.... So hopefully *fingers crossed* we might start trying sooner rather than later. Thanks for your help guys!
