From Surfers! Had a fantastic time... spent too much money on the girls, but all good in the end.
Can't believe how cold it is back here in NZ. We had extremely HOT days over there, too hot = 33.C and most nights were 19.C and tonight here in Chch it is going to be 0.C... Had very early starts = 5am as the girls couldn't get their body clocks adjusted to the time difference, and anyway it was light by 5.30am so went out and did things early. Glad you had fun, I think I was lucky coming home 2 weeks ago and it was 17c when we arrived - coming from about 23c. ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |

So great to hear you had a fantastic time! My family is over there at the moment - cant wait till they get back, no doubt they will be bragging about the hot weather. -------------

We've been back about 5 days and yes, it is hard adjusting to the colder weather but I keep telling myself that summer is coming. Looks like today will be a nice day. Kids also didn't adjust - woke up at 5.30am but it wasn't so bad and they adjusted back to the time here really well. We also spent heaps on the kids - have done most of the kids christmas shopping! I hear yas on target.. went to sydney early this year and got the kids clothes from there and they have been worn heaps - sadly RHylz is growing out of the trackies I got him. really hard wearing they are ------------- Ann

Agreed also with Best and Less...esp for boys clothes. Always stock up with there and they last well. Oh.....I've got to wait a year before we can go back for another holiday, its just to far away. Still, I'm thinking I'll have my hands full in about five months so that will fill in some time ------------- http://lilypie.com">
