We have a cot I purchased from Farmers for around $500. Has one drop down side and 2 diff levels for the base. I'm sure the lady that sold it to me, told me I could convert it to a bed by just taking the drop down side off it.
My problem is that I no longer have the instructions for it, so I can't GUARANTEE that it does convert - do most cots convert by just taking the drop-down side off? I *think* it will still be stable ...the side has been broken for a while now because little Mr. snapped the plastic latch that keeps that side up...and this morning he started jumping out of it again (he'd figured it out a while back but only did it a couple times and seemed to have forgotten ever since). So do you think it will be safe for me to just remove that side? Tbh I'm not even sure how to remove it ... ------------- Single Mum to a darling wee boy of 3 years :) |

| It should be fine. To get the side off If you loosen the screws holding the base it will let you have a little give to get the side off without dismantling the whole thing. |

Do you know the make of the cot? If you kept the recepit it will be on there.......
