Hi Ladies,

There's been heaps of talk about what bras are the best and i've been wondering what the best brand of comfy undies are?

I'm usually a G girl. I'm a size 14 at the moment and carry most of my weight on my butt and hips. I wear G's cause I cant stand undies riding up as it drives me insane. Does anyone know of any undies that are comfy and don't ride up? I've never found a brand of briefs that don't and I have a severe dislike of VPL.   I cringe whenever I see people walking down the street with it and just want to slap them silly. I'm happy to stick with G's but they're starting to chafe and I'm guessing they're not going to go well with maternity pads lol.

I didn't bother with comfy ones immediately after Daniel was born. I just bought a couple of packs of cheapys from the warehouse for $5 that way when the maternity pads overflowed I just biffed out the undies as well since they were so cheap. They didn't ride up but I think that would be the least of my worries since I had to sit on a pillow with a hole in it cause it was ouchies lol

Ive just bought a couple of the cheap packs from the warehouse, I think it was something like 7 pairs for $12 , I thought I'd try them out and they are quite comfy and dont ride up.

I've changed to the more boy-leg kinda style since being pregnant. They don't ride up and they sit nicely under my bump without making it look like a bad muffin top

Unfortunately (for you) they're from Marks & Spencers so probably not a particularly helpful recommendation! But if I was home I'd probably give the Bendon ones a go in a similar style.

I love the Elle Macpherson ones from Bendon. They don't ride up, and are very comfy as well.

I like my boy leg ones as well since having the boys. I do still wear a G every now and then but the boy leg ones are so comfy.

But after I had each boy I got ones from the Warehouse and wore them for the first few weeks and then binned them.

I go with cheapies as well cause you go through them so fast and you'll also change size and shape a bit. I get Warehouse/Farmers packs of knickers, my preference is for hipsters or similar because I have a bigger hip size than waist also.

A friend gave me a pair of http://www.thunderpants.co.nz/go/catalogue/index.cfm?fuseaction=catalogue&sexid=1 - thunderpants at my baby shower - they're made in NZ, don't ride up and are the most comfy undies I've ever worn.

I bought cheap Warehouse undies for late pregnancy/early weeks after bubs was born too.

Dana Im the same. Hate VPL (on me) and Hate riding up too. I buy bonds brand. I dunno what style they are but I love them. I buy them at Target here in Aus but I think Kmart sells them and Farmers will definitely sell them.

They have a reasonably wide edging but are soo comfy.

ETA: I use these undies when I was MC'ing and using really big ugly pads and they were great. No issues with leakage or riding up.

Boy leg work alright when you need to wear maternity pads but hope to avoid the dreaded VPL, and other than that, I don't get why we're all meant to trade in our G's during pregnancy! Ain't no room for nana-pants in my house, no sir-ee.
