I have a wedding of one of my veery close friends to go to next month - I will be 6 weeks away from having my baby so fair to say rather massive!! I don't want to spend heaps on an outfit as I don't really plan on having anymore kids after this... so will probably be a wear once sorta thing but I wanna look good too! Any suggestions??

I had a couple of really nice dresses from Pumpkin Patch that I bought really cheaply (like, $20 or so) from their outlet store and they lasted me right through (and I was ginormous). I found the sizing a little big - eg I would normally consider myself a Medium but their Small seemed to be right for me. Try Dressmart, or use the Pumpkin Patch codes database to find dresses like http://www.pumpkinpatch.co.nz/quick_shop.cfm?style=238011 - this one - you can get a reasonably plain dress and bling it up with some nice jewellery (and then sell the dress on TradeMe when you're done with it "practically brand new, worn once, $50 new, yours for $30" muahahaha).

I had a wedding to go to at about 28wks along and had real trouble figuring out what to wear cuz I didn't want to spend much. I ended up at Dressmart and bought a plain black skirt with rouching at the waistband from JK for $25. Then I got a plain black maternity v-neck top with rouching down the side from K-mart for about $13 and put the two together (tucked the top into the waistband to give it the look of a dress with detail round the middle) and pinned a scarf to sit around it like a belt below my belly. It ended up looking like a dress, for half the price of anything I could find anywhere else! I have to admit it took a friend of mine nearly 2hrs to pin the scarf to the waistband of my skirt while I was wearing it to make sure it looked just right!
Good luck finding that perfect something to wear!
