Has anyone had this?

Lucy has been sick since Friday night with it and I think that she has kindly passed it on to me as I am feeling rotten She told me to wait and then came back with an icecream container for me! How thoughtful darling!

I am surprised that DH is feeling "normal" as he has been dealing with the yucky stuff all weekend as I can't handle it! ha ha.

Ah, yes, we've got it! Yuck! Emma Rose's preschool has had it going around, and it's been so gross that they even sent a letter home suggesting that parents keep their well children home if they're worried about contracting it. It struck us over the weekend and seems to be on its way out. Delightful!

We had my bestfriend and her husband to stay over the long weekend and they both had it so I was looking after them all weekend. I have been lucky not to have gotten it. Good ole rubber gloves and spay in wipe to kill all the germs in the toilet. But its pretty nasty and if you can avoid it I certainly would.

Hope you all feel better soon.

Could be Rotovirus.

My mum hasn't been well for about 3 days with it.

My 8.5yr old has been sick since Saturday. With temps up to 40.5 and vomiting. She hasn't been sick since about 3am but has still be unable to get off the matress in the lounge.

That brings me to a question:
What do you do when your kids are sick? Ie sleeping arrangements. With my kids, even when young, we have always bought them out to the lounge where a matress can be used and an adult with them during the night. I just feel like I'm being neglectful if I leave them in their room at night by themselves...except my teenagers who are older.

I have this right now .... I've been up all night going from both ends (sorry, TMI) my abdominal muscles hurt so bad from all the vomiting and today I'm generally feeling blah!!

I haven't had anything to eat, but I've been keeping my fluids up because I learnt all about dehydration when I was in labour and having the drip put back in my hand isn't my favourite thing in the world.. trying to avoid the A & E and Doctors if I can help it as we have pain meds that will help with the cramps etc so *fingers crossed* I can get through this without too many issues
