Does anyone have any quick dinner ideas are for toddlers? scrambed eggs & tomatoes are a big favourite here and often I freeze a portion of our dinner and pull it out when we are in a rush.....but I need some more dinner ideas that I can cook up quickly.

TIA

I keep sealord crumbed fish nuggets in the freezer and cook those up with homemade chips or crunchy potatoes (which is just cubed potatoes cooked at 220c for about 20 mins) or you could use oven baked fries from the supermarket.

Also Michaela loves soft boiled eggs and soldiers (strips of toast) so they're regularly on the weeknight menu.

I make mini quiche looking things. Mix together egg, bit of cheese, grated carrot and peas and put that into mini muffin trays and bake

oh, that sounds good.  Tom eats with us most nights but is getting fussier at the moment.  If it is tomato based (ie spag bol) he's all for it.  Anything else seems to be how he feels on the day.

Macaroni goes down well here. If I'm really pressed for time I use a cheese sauce mix, some frozen chopped spinach, grated carrot and stir it all up with cooked pasta.

Isla loves mashed potato and boccolli mixed with half a small tin of tuna in spring water and some cottage cheese, and I usually tho in some mixed vege or peas that I cook in the microwave- its basically like a quick version of fish pie- takes 15mins!

Cottage pie doesn't take too long to do and freezes well. Spencer loves spring rolls as well so I normally have some of those in the freezer as they only take 15 mins to cook.

Nikki Spencer is the same, last night he wouldn't eat his dinner so I nuked a tomato mixed that in with it and down it went. Good job I have some tomato plants coming along nicely

thanks for the suggestions guys...keep them coming  Kellz I like your version of the quick fish pie- Ella loves anything to do with fish, so will definitely be giving that a go. mini quiche idea is also good and probably wouldn't take that long to cook.

problem is mainly the days that she is in daycare, as she normally starts demanding dinner about 10-15 mins after we have worked through the door....
