I had a real problem with hayfever too (for both babies). My GP and by OB both gave flixonase the OK. I really hate nasal sprays and had always resisted using flixonase but now I am a convert - it is the best thing I have ever used for my hayfever.

I have really bad hayfever, and have tried all the "safe" nasal sprays. Nothing works, went to a homeopath., and got a remedy, it's sort of working, but it's still here..

It drives me NUTS!

argh hayfever! When my nose is blocked it makes me snore, when it's runny I wake up with a wet face *so* not pleasant!! Although I do prefer the blocked nose as it doesn't turn all red and flaky from too much blowing!

Ty's Mummy - there is a natural product to use for hayfever.

It is called 'Hayfever Gel' made my Botanica. Quite hard to find, but it is purchased from pharmacies and you will find there may be a pharmacy that will order it in for you if they don't stock it.

A completely natural gel, you just use a little bit and put it on the inside of your nose.   It takes a couple of weeks to be completely effective, but once it is, it's fantastic. What it does is it lines the inside of your nose to stop the pollen/allegens sticking.

Much much nicer than a nasal spray, and definitely baby friendly.

Mum originally saw it advertised in the womens weekly and i didn't think it would work, but now i'm glad she convinced me to try it, cause at that time nothing else was working for me.
