I had a really sore tailbone earlier in my pregnancy (now 29 weeks), and it still gets sore if I sit in the car for too long.
I'm like Jezsika - I go to a chiropractor, which has helped. Had our ante-natal class the other night and a physio came along to that, given that you are in so much pain, I'd give a physio/chiro or osteopath a go and see what they can do for you.

I had a lot of tailbone/back problems and contacted the local hospital and they put me through to someone who specialised in back problems for pregnant women. I was told to be careful who you went to when you were pregnant as some physio/chiro don't special in treating pregnant women (bones being softer or something like that).
I'm sure they would have something similar at most major hospitals. The physio didn't help me at all the the hospital was great!
