Since its secret santa time again.. and i remember starting this same thread last year.. my how time flies, i thought we could get some hints for secret santa..
I know these come in the questions for registering, but i thought we could elaborate! What do you enjoy? What do you like to collect? Whats something that doesnt cost more than $20 you want but wouldnt normally buy yourself? I know i have some things where im like man i want that but need the $20 for something else! What do you like doing for fun? - I love reading, spending time with the family, playing with our pets and watching DVD's. I also knit (working on a patchwork blanket for Maddie at the moment) and I do cross stitch and scrapbooking. Do you collect anything? other than pets? hehehe, ummmm, I don't really collect anything. hmmmm. Whats something you want that is no more than $20 that you wouldnt buy normally? Bath or beauty stuff. I love to pamper myself but hardly ever buy stuff to do it. My nail polish collection is shameful as much as I love them! I'd love to get some cat related scrapbooking stickers etc but it's not high on our list of priorties so would probably get shoved aside for months!  I also love funky wool - especially variegated but again it would probably not happen for months.

What do you enjoy? I really enjoy baking and cooking. I have just bought all Jamie ollivers cookbooks and love my new found passion! What do you like to collect? I like collecting cookbooks, and scrapbooking stuff, although i have HEAPS of scrapbooking stuff i do nothing with. Also photo albums, i have about 1000 photos in need of albums lol Whats something that doesnt cost more than $20 you want but wouldnt normally buy yourself? Hmmmm, Probably a baking book, or a recipe folder for me to put all my ones in, or some bath pampering stuff.. What do you enjoy? Doing variety puzzles- like wordfinds, sudoku etc. Arty /cratfy stuff- love making christmasy stuff like cards, decorations, wrapping paper etc. Shopping! Lol! Trashy romantic comedys-books and movies! Whats something that doesnt cost more than $20 you want but wouldnt normally buy yourself? A necklace. Im always thinking I would love to have more jewlery to go with different tops,but I never get any- the costume jewlery sorta beady kinda stuff like at farmers! |

What do you enjoy? soccer, playing the piano, reading, sunny days, scrapbooking, spending time with family, church, going to the movies, music... What do you like to collect? Earrings (hehe), books, Whats something that doesnt cost more than $20 you want but wouldnt normally buy yourself? Chocolate, nice smelling moisturiser (love fruity/flowery smells), funky earrings or necklaces (I'm always looking at them in shops), oh and I need a calendar and diary for next year, nail polish... that's about all my ideas atm.  ------------- Chloe (4 years) and Oliver (3 years). |

What do you enjoy? Sleeping, hanging with my family, reading, spending time in the sun, sewing (well, I enjoy the finished product rather than the sewing itself), painting. ETA: I really want a set of plastic cookie cutters for when I do baking with Michaela (thanks for reminding me Weegee). I'm sure whatever my secret santa chooses, whether from the list or not, will be fabulous -------------

I enjoy cooking, particularly baking... I seem to have been spending a lot of time decorating cakes lately . I enoy spending time in the garden, too - especially now it's got a little warmer.
What do you like to collect? Rubber ducks! No, seriously - I think they're cute. My little brothers and sisters like playing with them too. I've also got a bit of a collection of christmas ornaments, and I guess you could say I collect cake decorating stuff, since I've got enough of it! Whats something that doesnt cost more than $20 you want but wouldnt normally buy yourself? LOL - before TTC if I had a spare $20, I would have spent it $3 at a time on diet coke. I can't really buy them often or I'd go broke, but they were my treat. Now I've gone off caffeine *sigh*. So that's not much help! Probably edible goodies... or, after reading minik8e's post - socks! I like socks...and too many of mine have holes! -------------

Great idea, I know I was horribly uncommunicative with mine, and hoping my SS posts here too!
What do I enjoy? swimming, hockey, sewing, cooking, reading, doing any kind of logic puzzle, shopping. What do I collect? I have a massive stash of fabrics that I should really do something with but never seem to get around to it, but I still keep collecting them, especially deep colours (I think the last fashion season they were called "jewel brights") and nice textures. I also keep collecting recipe books, I love randomly reading and drooling over them, you can never have too many cookbooks. What's something that doesn't cost more than $20 I want but wouldn't normally buy myself? Hmmm I never buy myself jewellery. I also love Home and Garden type magazines. I've wanted a copy of the OHbaby magazine for a while, haven't even seen any issue, and can't really justify it  I need a piping set for cooking/baking/icing! Would also love some shaped cookie cutters (like gingerbread men) I'm really not much of a fan of anything smelly

Truth is I go to work so I can buy what i want for myself... but let me think....Earrings - i am not into dangly ones though, smellie soaps,(lush is devine and I dont get to buy cause there isn't a lush here) cd's (normally picking ones for the kids) , hair ties (am always pinching brookes lol) ... will update if i think of something else I also love photography and anything to do with photos, taking them etc..... just a lil bit more to go on. Necklaces - especially the long ones that only go around once, Cool socks, Hair clips, Mini travel hair straigtner, solar lights for the garden That was fun thinking about things that I want!  ------------- TTC 6 years IVF it is IVF/ICSI round one 10 eggs, 8 mature, 3 fertilised BFN IVF/ICSI #2 = 22 eggs! 20 mature, 15 fertilised, 1 fresh transfer and 2 frosties BFN 2 Frosties still in freezer thank god |

What do you enjoy? Hmm, I enjoy baking/cooking esp cupcakes, going out, hanging with my baby, reading and organising stuff. What do you like to collect? Nothing but have tended to collect receipes and then not use them. Have books full of them (and they are beautifully organised)! So no recipe books please! Umm, have just got a pandora bracelet and have started collecting charms for it - am loving it and don't need the true pandoras to make me happy. Whats something that doesn't cost more than $20 that you wouldn't normally buy? Cupcake/cake decorating stuff, jewellery esp necklaces and earrings, stationary stuff, exoensive mags (have a habit of buying the cheapies every week so miss out on the monthlys), books, pandora type charms - anything really as don't tend to shop alot for me. No bath stuff please as have heaps from when I had DS - I think people think I smell -------------

A new bucket hat for summer (yep, high fashion)... a keyring, photo frame, magnets, windchimes, cute cookie cutters or other cake decoratey bits n bobs. What do you enjoy? Painting, scrap booking (although hardly ever get the time) What do you like to collect? LOVE artsy things ...or statues ie. wooden cats that stand in your lounge etc. Anything I can paint on, I love. (I use acrylics). A LOT of things ...haven't bought myself something in AGES! Let's see... I could do with: *A 2009 Diary, 1 day to a page. *Something wooden that I can paint, I like to be creative ... I also LOVE little wooden characters, animals, lettering etc etc (think along the lines of spotlight) *A pretty diamante/decorative headband ...not the material ones, but the old jackie band style thats made of wire/metal iykwim (I'd REALLY like one of these if you can find one, chemists etc usually have 'em) I don't do: *Ornaments or little dust collectors ...rocks etc - I'm allergic to dust!
*Make up (UNLESS its gorgeous green/brown sparkly eye shadow for hazel eyes ...i haven't found anything to my liking yet! *Jewelery ...never wear it tbh so don't waste your money... *Chocolates ...have to buy my own as I have to be careful due to nut allergies etc. I still don't know who my SS is lol ...but im hoping she's posted in here too! ------------- Single Mum to a darling wee boy of 3 years :) |

Whoever my SS is, please no chocolate!!!! and no stuff for the body, as I have really sensitive skin, and quite fussy about what I buy and put on it.
I'm quite hard to buy for, as I have enough gardening stuff, don't need anymore books, don't like ornaments at all, and when it comes to food, I am also fussy in that department
But I wouldn't mind a new wallet/purse preferably red, not made of leather, not shiny, simple and stylish. Something that doesn't have bows on it, and can hold about a fair amount of plastic and receipts. My current one is just about ready to die.
