I have just sent in a renewal form for Isla's childcare subsidy, and got a letter back wanting all this extra info on our income. Because she recieves the Child disablility allowance (which has just been approved for another year), should I really have to supply all this stuff on our income to prove that our income is low enough to get the 9 hrs free childcare susidy, even tho we are entitled to up to 50 hrs free childcare with the CDA? We have been using 10 1/2 hrs per week of the entilement all year.

I just rang the winz 0800 number and the said that I do have to send it in, but it seems weird since the CDA should be coming her childcare costs anyway, and the CDA is not income tested.

Anyone know how it all works??

TIA
