Got a call from my Aunty not so long ago, I believe theres coverage/a debate on NZ politics on TV1 at present ...my beautiful cousin is nicely placed behind Helen Clark - to the left bottom of most your screens.
Apparently she was approached by Marks Sainsbury to be part of the audience and specifically placed at the front for viewing pleasure (or so it seems)....that or to make Helen Clark look good
ETA: Which brings me to my final question - Is everything we see on Telly fake? ...Even Politics

Heh
Don't get me wrong, I love my cousin and I think she's absolutely gorgeous ...but seriously kinda funny - I think she's about as clued up/interested as I am ... (I know next to nothing....but I'm trying!)

Yes, after all TV is there to get ratings, they're not out there for the good of the people, just to make a buck.

yes, cause no one wants to watch the boring bits, so more interesting ones are created. Read "chart throb" by Ben Elton and see idol programmes in a new light.

Telly's main job I think is to entertain, how they go about it is up to the producers I guess.
I've read that Ben Elton book, and yup its all about the math!

lol lizzle - I'm reading that at the moment and it's turning me into the BIGGEST cynic and picking holes in everything I see on TV now
