Give your DAUGHTER a number one haircut?
The kids next door to my parents all had their had shaven. Theres 5 of em. 3 are Girls. One is not far gone 3. The kids across the road to my parents also had theres done a few weeks back.  ------------- Mummy to two beauties... Formerly Kaiz. |

I was thinking the headlice thing too - and with 5 kids trying to get rid of them would be an absolute nightmare, Its bad enough when my two girls get them!

they have that cancer thing now where kids are raicing money and then shaving there hair my friends kids are doing it but they hare older then that -------------

I would say prob hairlice. Christopher has had one bout of headlice and we just couldn't get rid of the little suckers and in the end we just shaved it all off and he hasn't ever had them again. Yup I'd say headlice, and if they're really badly infested then that is the best option!....My niece has had her hair cut short....maybe not quite a number 1 though lol. -------------

Hmmm, Janayas never had them so I dont have too much experience in that area. Sounds like nits are a nightmare, especially if it results in shaving their hair?!

Yup, I'd go with lice... they are such a pain to get rid of once your kid has them...over and over and over (you get the drift) that sometimes short hair is the way to go as the lice can't live on short hair as it's not warm enough for them AND there isn't enough to hold on to -------------

Poor kids - they must have cold heads!!! It's not exactly tropical yet.
I got nits once when I was a kid and my mum washed my hair with kerosene. I'm either very lucky or my hair was rinsed extra thoroughly because no doubt Mum would have had a fag hanging out her mouth when she was drying and brushing my hair. | My uncle was a single parent of two girls and had a really tough time doing their hair, keeping it brushed and tied up. I went round one day and he had taken them to the hairdresser and got them the most disgusting mullets I have ever seen so that he wouldn't have to worry about keeping their hair back, I was mortified! |

Unrelated, of course, but a Chinese friend at work shaved his baby girl's hair and eyebrows off for cultural reasons when she was just a little thing. Being a baby, of course, she just looked cute bald  -------------

Yah Headlice......I remember my Mum shaved my hair off and I was like 6 years old....its because my Hair went all the way to my bum and I got headlice from school and mum just couldnt get them all out...or atleast she wasnt confident that she had...so out came my long long hair!!
I grew it back quite quickly tho!! Z has long long hair...and I think I would cut it short if she ever got them (gosh I hope not) as it would be a nightmare to get them out!! ------------- http://lilypie.com">
