          | Just wondering which product everyone found helpful for winding baby. Ive tried gripe water (didnt work), infacol (worked OK). Ive also heard of colicmed and colic calm but havent tried these yet. |

          | warm boiled water worked wonders for me. I also have weleda colic powder and colimed relief which both helped but I never found anything that actually made Alex burp. |

          | Its hard - we tried them all too Weleda colic powder and infacol were the best for us, but sometimes I just wonder if it got to the point where DD was mature enough to bring the wind up herself?

          | We've used gripe water (didn't work, but great for hiccups), infacol (worked OK to start with but seemed to lose its effectiveness), Weleda Colic Powder (worked really well for us) and NaturoPharm Colimed (seemed to work really well also).
Lilia now brings up wind by herself and I haven't used anything in ages. It was when she was about 5 months that it seemed to get better for her.

          | Gripe water was no good for us - just made a mess.
Infacol was great, but I was wary of using it too much.

Weleda colic powder was fabulous, and usually calmed him instantly. Was a bit fiddly spooning the liquid into his mouth, but was worth it.

Now he is teething, the Weleda Teething Powder is always nearby as well. Fantastic products.

          | Nothing really worked for Lucy once she got past the 4-5 month age except for a cranial osteopath. Prior to that both infacol and gripe water worked, but gripe water would often make her throw up her entire feed.

          | Chonny from our Oct thread recommended colimed for windy babies, and most of us have now tried it! Because its homeopathic, can't do harm with it. And a spray (which makes them pull funny faces!) so easy to give. Some people have found it absolutely brilliant, others okay at bringing up wind - apparently it works better for some babies than others. But seems to help digestive system regardless is the consensus.

          | Its amazing what you guys say about gripe water, my mother swore by it (my youngest bro is 5yrs), and I just 'assumed' it did the job. Good to know it may not!

          | flake, i think gripe water used to be better. my mum used to use it too but i foudn it wasn't any good for V. I think because they have changed the formula to it in the past few years.
Yes i use colimed. Did notice on the bottle it has approx 11% alcohol. but it's all natural so i don't see a problem with it. i do knwo a lady who is wary of it due to that so hasn't used it, but personally i swear by it. It doesn't necessarily make D burp, but it settles his tummy & calms him down within 30seconds! once they are relxade, it is easier to burp/fart etc. i found infacol would work for a bit then stop working. & gripe water just gave him hiccups & went everywhere. i did like the taste of it tho. lol. The colic powder i did try but it said to put powder on spoon & give. didn't know you could make it into a liquid? i found it horrible to give as a powder so didn't give it much of a go. also, V hated the powder texture. Just remember ladies, hiccups are their own way of getting rid of wind

          | Gripe water never worked for us except on the hiccups. We found infacol worked best mixed into Maddie's bottle.
