Subject: Help me....it might be fun

Next Sunday is my 6th wedding anniversary.  DH and I follow the traditional gifts and this year is candy *does a sugar fueled happy dance* so I was thinking that it would be fun and funny to make him a big anniversary card replacing some words with different packets of lollies/chocolates etc.

For eg I could say something like:  I love you MORO each day (sticking a moro bar where the word more would normally be) DYKWIM?

What I need help with is figuring out what wrapped candy I can use to replace words.  Go on, it'll be fun!

Well there's cadbury 'dream' chocolate, sure you could come up with something with that.

You could say 'lets have a 'picnic'.

obvious ones are hershey's kisses.

Or you could cheat, and give him a box of favourites, as 'he's your favourite' or something like that.

can't think of anything nice or romantic to go with 'flake' and 'crunchie'.

Great idea for a gift

"When you love someone, all your saved up winegums start coming out

Soul meets soul on lovers minties

What the heart gives away is never gone... it is kept in the fruitbursts of others

Pixie is always where love dwells

hey, this is fun I may think of more

*Snort* depends on if you're sticking with the raunchy theme ...

Also re the pinky ... you could say that the day you pinky swore to love him forever *mush mush*

or, even though there are days where you could hit him over the head with a shovel and bury him under a peanut slab in the back garden Oh, woops. No, that's me thinking about my husband ...

Mmmm ... lollies ...

Erm ... if you're having a bad day, he's always (most of the time, sometimes ... insert appropriate times) a perky nana in your day

Ooooh! The day he gave you sparkles was the best day EVER! We looooove sparkles!!

... I think I'm out

Gosh you ladies are very cleaver i can't think of any at the moment. However i d remember when i was dplanning our wedding comming accross a site that made flowers out of lollies. If you want it let me know.

How about making a lollie tree not what you are thinking of but it could be fun and maybe your wee girl could help too. Any lolly wrapped is good although you could use truffles too and pop a tooth pick in them and stick them into a polysteryne ball otherwise you would use pins.

My grandparents had this done for their wedding anniversary on a huge board, it was hilarious. It was more raunchy though! Something along the lines of my grandma "reaching for his PINKY and putting it in her KITKAT and him beginning to FLAKE, and having a QUIK EZE. If only I could remember the whole thing!

The other traditional gift for the 6th anniversary is iron (boring!)  I got a lovely pair of leather boots on my 3rd anniversary.  DH got a leather bookmark and some other non-leather gifts as I lacked inspiration.

Uh oh, I can imagine women being given irons for ironing, instead of something nice made with iron lol.

5th is wood I think... I couldn't really think of anything nice for DH that he'd like and wouldn't break the budget, so we went out for dinner instead
