Morning,
My kitchen cabinets are all drawers (quite large ones), and the little monster has just realised he can pull them open
What are the best safety catches to get so that he doesn't jam his fingers? The ones i have allow you to open the drawer a bit, and then push the latch down to release it. But that would mean he can still get his fingers caught IYKWIM?
Anyone have any solutions?
Thanks xx

We haven't put safety latches on ours. We had a few squashed fingers in the beginning but now hes very careful.
The only thing we put a safety latch on is the oven. You can get ones that don't allow you to open the drawer at all.

those clear plastic things which you attach to the outside corners (assuming your draws are on a corner bench) When you attach them close enough then you cant get lil fingers in & if the dont they'll only catch their fingers once
Gosh thats a great discription hygwim

We never used any thing as Z was really good at not touching the drawers...but we did buy some just in case and yes they were the open a little and push down kind.
I went to Baby Factory and bought them there...I just explained to them what kind of drawers we have and they showed me my options...may be go have a chat to them!!

Thanks guys. I went into the Baby Factory on our walk this afternoon and asked about them. The lady didn't know too much though!
I ended up buying a couple of packs of the rubbery plastic strip thingys which I can use to strap the drawers closed. Make sense??!
Will try them out tonight, and then let Nate loose tomorrow to see if they are monster-proof.
I'm too scared to leave them unsecured as the drawers are all pretty big and are full of serving plates etc, so heavy. Recipe for disaster with my child who just will not stay still!
