How much does your family go through a week?? I think my boys eat far too much of it as we go through a can and a bit a week. ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |

Ours lasts about a month or more, thats some mega sauce you are going through. When we have it, we only have a very small amount because of the sugar and stuff. Yeah, that is why I say everyone's different. Neosha gets quite hyped up after it and I put it down to the sugar, but I know other kids who don't. Willie has it on *everything* and is fast teaching his daughters to do the same. I only have it on sausages, burgers and chips, it kills me when I make a nice roast and then he drowns it in sauce! -------------  Maya Grace (28/02/03)

We go through a can a week here too but it's mainly one son who has everything swimming in the stuff 
Really pees me off too when I've cooked something nice and it's drowned! He even dips his burger in it - WTF? |

We go through 1 big bottle every few weeks.
Sometimes it doesnt even last that If I am using it in cooking. Keira uses it alot but if a bit of sauce is going to help her eat her vegies I'm not going to stop her. -------------

we go thru a bottleevery week or 2 i would think. but i use it in cooking too as well as on food. gabriel thinks it is a food on its own and would eat nothing but sauce for tea if he could!

We go through a can maybe every 2-3 weeks. We don't often have it, generally only when we have chips or something that has mince in it. |

About 5 or 6 months? McKayla has it with chips and that is about it and we dont have chips very often at all. Plus I use it if we ran out of tamato paste. ------------- http://lilypie.com">

one big bottle in a month or so? I'm not entirely sure because we buy the 4L and refill. I don't think going through a can a week is really a problem but I guess the biggest reason for more or less use is probably how often you have meals that lend themselves to tomato sauce, and whether you cook with it (e.g. put it through mince). For us, pies, chips, sausages, have been not as much on the menu since I went gluten free. ------------- |

| YUM. I'm a sauce girl and Taine takes after me, treated chips as a sauce moving device. Sugar content varies HUGELY! Tuimato sauce has 34% sugar whereas watties (or pams I can't remember) has 15% - normal brand not lite. |

Caitlyn loves tomato sauce , when I make her french toast she drowns it in tomato sauce, never mind that im standing by with the bacon and maple syrup and cinnamon .....
I dont really like it much , I prefer dipping my chips in mayo (but only Best Foods) mmmm. We do go through a lot of sauce tho , now that you mention it ..... -------------

LOL  That's the way I treat chips too. I eat lots of sauce on some things (like chips) and not much otherwise.
When I have my family round, we can go through a can in a sitting! (That is quite a few of us, though, and they all like sauce). -------------

We go through a refill tin per fortnight here and lord help me if I forget to order a new one with my groceries each fortnight. It's a the first thing Michaela grabs when she's setting the table (no matter whether we're eating something that goes with t.sauce or not). -------------
