this is my first attempt at gardening and I planted some strawberry plants..yum!!!!!
Unfortunately they have sucumbed to a "pest" that eats all the berries as soon as they are red. I dont think sprays will work. I have caught this "pest" at work and he has a HUGE smile on his face, with red dripping down his jaw. Wish I had a photo but it seems............
Tom loves strawberries and helps himself to them straight off the plant. I even caught him having trouble breaking the fruit off so he just bites it off the plant. Kinda cute.. |

teehee I got the same kinda pests, but mine eat them green & will even demolish the new flowers & leeaves

You will need to cover them as if that pest is getting to them the other pests will get them too. ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |
