I thought I had a cavity in one of teeth as when I eat (and afterwards) i get a metal taste in my mouth... I have a metal (silver filling) where I get the most taste... but then i thought about signs of pregnancy you can get a metal taste...
So how was your metal taste if you got it (I have never had it with my three pregnancies)... it feels like its coming from my tooth but maybe not... ------------- Ann

I got a metal taste when I was pregnant. It didn't seem to be localised anywhere, although I did get sensitive teeth at the same time. For me it was worse when I needed to eat - it was a reliable indicator that I had left it too long to snack and would throw up within 10 minutes. But I'm sure it's one of those things that's different for everybody! -------------

I had the metalic taste this pg (only). It was constant in my mouth and wouldn't go away. Drinking water just tasted like metal, so much so that I went onto flavoured water for a while. It wasn't based at any particular point, it was my whole mouth. -------------  |

maybe its my tooth though - I don't wanna go to dentist till I know though cause it costs a fortune!

I had this quite badly with my first pregnancy, like busymum it just wouldnt go away and I felt like I had bad breath all the time ------------- Mum to Mr 10, Mr 6 and Mr 4

I hope its cause you are preggy and you dont have to go to the dreaded dentist!!
