who your Secret Santa is, or would you rather it stay a secret? I mean once you receive your SS present. I always put my name on the card but it occurred to me, maybe some people *don't* want to know?

I like to be able to thank people personally, so I would like to know. But I can understand people not wanting to tell.

Every secret santa I have done we have told who was the gift giver after the pressies were open.

Unless my ss posts in here and says she doesnt mind or wants to know then I will sign my card From Santa xxx

I'd love to know so I can thank them 'personally' (or abuse them if I don't like the gift - he he just kidding!)

But if SS decides to remain secret that's cool too.

I think I would like to know. Way to curious And It would also be nice to thank them personally.
Then on the other hand, I think I would feel to shy to let my secret santa know who I am....then they'll never know who sent them the present if they dont like it

I don't mind....

I didn't get sent my actual SS pressie last year, but Amy send me some scorched almonds (that I ate in about 5 mins of having them) as a lovely consellation (?sp) prize, and I knew it was her cos the postmark said Danneverke.

I only discovered my year before one after last Xmas, during one of these type threads.

My SS will probaly guess me cos of the postmark, not may of us from this area...

I don't mind either way.

If I chat to them on a regular basis, then I'm probably likely to guess who it is from hints, or from the gift itself.
But if I don't chat to that person then I'd like to know so I can thank them

Of course, I'll thank whoever it is, but because I'll have more of an opportunity to thank the person if it's someone I chat to a lot, then... argh I don't think this is making sense

SS, if you're reading this - feel free to sign your name, if you want to

I'm curious...but eventually I forget about it LOL I still don't know who my SS last year was!!

Last year I wouldn't have been happy to say, as my SS has said some things about what she got, which made me feel kind of stink as I had put a bit of thought into it.

ETA: I do like the idea of being able to thank them personally though.

Im all for surprises I think they are great - but then I would be SO curious and would HAVE to know in the end! So I LOVE the idea of clues and trying to work it out - even if it takes a while!

The 20 people that found out who they had last week will be pretty easy to work out who got who there because most people posted that they didnt know who they had to for, so I'm thinking it might be easish to work it out lol

And I don't mind knowing or not knowing. I think its kinda cool is remaining secret, but I'm not totally against knowing. Mind you I haven't received my present yet, I might be dying to know when I have!
