After much confusion and being told 3 different things from Baby Factory, Baby City and then the MB people at the P&C show...I thought I would ring MB direct and ask them.

I wanted to know if I could put a carrycot on one side of a double MB and have a seat on the other. The short answer is YES. The long answer is not so straightforward.

I have a carrycot that I used on our single MB, but that WONT fit into the frame of a double MB as the frame is narrower. So you can get a single carrycot to go into a double frame, but it is narrower that the normal single carrycot that goes in a single frame. Make sense?? Confused

I feel a bit ripped off actually - as when we bought our MB I had a conversation with the lady in BF about this exact thing - when we upgrade to a double at some point would I be able to use the carrycot...and was told YES!

Hopefully this helps those of you out there considering a double MB!

We are looking at getting a dble MB and I was told the same thing as you when I was at the P&C show, we would have to get a new carry cot as our sgle carrycot won't fit the dble MB.

DH is trying to tell me that we don't need a dble MB now and that Jack will walk , we'll see closer to the time. As our sgle MB is in good condition I am hoping I can sell it on TM and maybe it can cover about 1/2 the cost (fingers crossed)
