Yes, I know I shouldn't be online at 3:45am! I am a good one finger typist while Jackson is mucking around with boobie!
I need to get Jackson a sunhat and I can't find any. All the hats I find are just massively huge. Even Pumpkin Patch's XXS is absolutely giant on him (I can't see how it would fit any newborn).
Has anyone had any success with finding a sunhat small enough? I can't be the only person who has had this problem!
We have a garden wedding to go to on the weekend, and I am worried about his bald little head.

Cian's 3 months old and the sunhat we've got him (smallest we could find) is STILL a little too big!!
Maybe just cover him with a muslin wrap?

We got Zach a Baby Banz hat at the parent and child show. It has an adjustable band on it and a really wide brim. I love it. I don't know how to add links so cut and paste.... http://www.babybanz.co.nz/index.php?cPath=133

gemsmum....see the little pink squares above the part where you write the messag? Click on the one that looks like a link in a chain. (on my computer it will first ask me to confirm this action)......a box will pop up where you write the name you want to call you link, then click on. Then it will ask for the actualy website link, put that in an click ok.
And its all done :)

Thanks Nefertiti - I figured it must be fairly straightforward but I'm not overly computer literate . My kids (5 and 7) already run rings around me on the computer! Eeek.

Have you tried the OSFA size PP hats for babies? Don't know if they're smaller than their XXS but they look it, and they're for the wee ones - Ella was in them as a newbie (but then she was big-headed!).

Good site Debs - no worries about thread jacking! But the hats still say fit 48cm plus head circumference and Jackson is only 39cm!

A Muslin doesn't have UV protection though does it?
I have XS PP UVF50 hats for the girls and they're still too big. lol! The PP large ones fit me!

Zach's head is only 40cm - I just pull the velcro tightener tight and it seems ok. It doesn't cover his eyes anyway - and it's UV resistant (and it matches his Baby Banz sunglasses - most important hehe). Will keep my eye out for any smaller sunhats and let you know if I see any.

i just use the too big sunhat. It covers half her face, but as she is usually sleeping when we are out anyway, that is no bad thing -all the more protection
