Nia If you had been in my arms your whole world would be calm you never would have known such pain your name would not be so known and like any child you'd have grown free from sorrow and from shame But thats not how your story went Your life was disregarded you were broken , bent a story that ended on the wrong page because you were the subject of somebodies rage So many questions , and no answer thats right who were they to take away a light that shone so bright ? how can it ever be that people don't like a child whos three ? they caused fear to live inside of your heart too scared to cry because of what you knew it would start I bet sometimes you wished you could have flown free I wish little one , that you could have flown to me and your not the first and you wont be the last this is our present and this is our past too many children are being abused being tortured being used becoming the subject of someone elses rage and noone cares til they end up on the front page Lets hope your death was not in vain lets pray we never see this again and for you , sweet child now its your turn to take what is owed time to feel what they never showed time to be happy , time to be loved safe from harm , in the lords arms above . Meh , its cr*p, I'll work on it and make it better .... just had to write something after reading about her awful life in the herald today -------------

Then to read that one of the brothers was separated from the other men in prison "amid fears for his safety"... WTF?! Who CARES about HIS safety? Congrats kelly - you have out in a poem what we all feel. Words though can not explain what I think about those who did this to her. A worst of all is that she died thinking this was normal.

Thanks so much guys (am v surprised since i cringe every time i read it haha, but thankyou )
what I REALLY want is for those " people " that did that to her to actually fully comprehend what they did , to feel the fear they made her feel , to feel alone and without anyones love . I feel that the only reason they may have any remorse now, isnt for her , but for themselves, and the fact they got caught and found guilty . -------------

That was beautiful I am glad that their trial is almost over and waiting for their sentencing they will probably only get 15 years not enough for killing an innocent child. I still can't believe that guy knew something was going on but did nothing about it makes me so angry as she will be out of there and into a safer environment |

Reading about horrible scum like the mother of Nia who didn't care about her at all, and then Kyah's poor mum Shanelle who would have given the world to keep her daughter here just makes my heart break. May they both now run and play like 3 year olds should. RIP |

Thats such a lovely tribute. I hope the ones that did it have a very long and hard time in Jail. I read somewhere that one of them had a mental age of 12 well even a 12 year old knows whats right and wrong.
It really annoys me that society today looks for a reason for their behaviour e.g. they were abused that seems to justify what they did they are so wrong regardlesshow a child was brought up or their circumstances it doesn't make it more right. too many pople are getting off for pathetic excuses. Maybe now they can start figurig out why they did it but regardless of what they ends out to be it st ill doesn't make it right. |
