Hi Wellington ladies!
I am hoping you can help me. I currently go to Shape Hairdressers on Customhouse Quay and have a FANTASTIC hairdresser (Malili if you're ever looking). She's been the best hairdresser I have ever had and always come out happy. BUT - with being down to only one income, the cost of the haircut ($80) is now just too much and I feel too indulgent spending that. Especially when DH's haircuts cost $12.50! I was wondering if anyone had a good hairdresser more around the $50 mark that they could recommend to me? |

Lawren at Amy's Hair Design on Ghuznee Street is absolutely fantastic. A shampoo, cut and blow wave is $50, and if you are a student (like me), you get a 15% discount.
I have been going to her since I moved to Wellington at the beginning of 2007. She is a fantastic hairdresser, and really knows how to cut my hair to suit the shape of my face and also looking stylish at the same time  I get my hair cut every 6 weeks, but have been going every 4 weeks, as my hair has been growing like crazy during this pregnancy.
