As i know some of you are fans, but in the news this morning it has been said that Mr Ramsey has been having an affair for the last 7 years with a lady by the name of Sarah Symonds. She is the author of a book i think its calleds 'how to have an affair'. but in she tells of if your in one you must get out.

I saw that on Breakfast this morning too! Quite unbelievable! Seven years is a long time to be having an affair without being caught. Wonder why after so long, it's finally come out?? | Reading the british press I don't think there is much credibility to the story. It was run by The News of the World (possibly the most downmarket newspaper in the world) so I wouldn't believe it at this stage. |

| I love how everyone believes what they read. It's quite possible that this woman took the opportunity to make up a story for financial reasons, not to mention how much publicity SHE would get. How many times has a story like this been in the magazines and papers and been untrue?! More often than not. I'm going to give him some credit for now (innocent until proven guilty) and you can't believe anything until he himself comes out and says 'yes, I did have an affair'. |

Gordon Ramsey is actually suing the newspaper about the story.

haha, he is married with kids although he wasn't at the birth of any of his children as he thought that it might turn him off his wife and he wouldnt' fancy her anymore.... I'd bloody drag mine there

The fact that she is the author of a book "how to have an affair" makes methink it is just a bit of publicity for her and her book.
He and Tana had a show of 'togetherness' yesterday with a trip to harrods and a photo outside their house so she can't be too concerned. |

Innocent til proven guilty i say ...and with the rubbish they put in british (and NZ as well...actually all tabloids) tabloids, im sure there is no credit to it .
He probably met her once and said "hi " ...and if on the off chance it is true, then how sad, hopefully the public and media can leave his family alone to sort things out -------------

| there was a big thing about his low sperm count from working in kitchens and his bits being at the height of the ovens. Im also scepticle about the allegations he just dosent seem like the type although i suppose its always the ones you dont expect. Hmm im just not sure think ill wait till there is better evidence. |

I don't believe it, and Im not even a fan (sorry ...but hes very wrinkly ! ..and dont tell me it "adds to his charm" ) but from what ive seen and read about him and his family , he doesnt seem the type to risk it for an affair . -------------

Yep they did have heaps of trouble getting pregnant (low sperm count and Tana has PCOS, so they went IFV and they last girl Maddie was conceived naturally). Well all the papers are running the story now- Telegraph, Daily Mail, Sun and it made the TV news over here as well as all the morning shows. Those poor poor kids  No matter if its true or false that family is going to be going through such a tough time and to have everybody speculating and no doubt teasing them as well.
Thats why I would HATE to be famous- such a personal thing to be going through and knowing you can't protect your children from how hateful and nasty the public can be. They're probably being ripped to shreds in school ------------- Jen, Charlotte 7 & Kate 3
