LOL before you all think I'll about to grow all my natural hair out (heaven forbid!!) - actually I just want to know whether you prefer shaving, waxing, or plucking; DIY or at a salon; and obviously where each relates to. For starters:

Eyebrows - waxed at salon every 3 weeks
Bikini line- nothing in winter. hair removal cream in summer then wax at salon a few times when Im feeling brave and have $$. Vaguely contemplating a brizillian. Legs- shave every 2nd day in summer, less in winter Armpits- shave daily ETA- I am WAY too much of a wuss to wax at home! Someone else ripping it off is bad enough! |

Bikini line I shave but prefer to get a brazilian at the salon Legs shave Armpits shave I can't really afford salon at the moment so home job it is. I'm too wimpy to wax at home I can't pull it off fast enough. |

Eyebrows - pluck. Occasionally I like to get them done at the salon so I have some idea what to keep them like.
Bikini Line - never needed to do anything Legs - ahh Im shocking, Havent shaved since befre Maddi was born. Surprisingly they are not to bad. I started using cream and plucking and they have never really grown back. During Summer I'll probably shave weekly. Armpits - shave every few days. -------------

OMG you are SOO lucky! My skin is pale as but I have BLACK hair everywhere and plenty of it  Well the hair on my haed and arms ist black tho, lol!

I get eyebrows waxed, and brazilian at a salon, but used to shave....never again!!

I'm also too chicken to wax or have waxed - but I hate plucking too!
Eyebrows - pluck, rarely because I'm a wuss Bikini line - shave as needed (hardly ever) Legs - shave every couple of days Armpits - shave most days ------------- |

If you can handle plucking you can handle waxing, it just takes a wee bit to get used to but its over before you can wuss out anyway. |

Bikini line - Used to shave, now I get a wax at Salon every 4 weeks Legs - Shave daily Armpits - Shave daily ------------- Our Angel July 08  Gone but not forgotten

Bikini - get a brazilian at the beginning of summer, and that's mostly it, I never wear a bikini its just feels nice Legs - shave 1 or 2 a week, less in winter i can't always see what i'm doing. I have jsut started having my legs waxed - a friend is opening a salon at home (pre bubba she was a beauty therapist) so I decided to support her home buisiness :) It is awesome! Mind you I am not very hairy - I hadn't shaved for all ove winter, literally 6 months and while I had a few long hairs you had to get up close and personal with my legs to see them.
I still shave underarms, nothing for bikini line. Eyebrows get a tidy when same friend does an eyelash tint for me, every 2 or so months I am aiming for on that. -------------

How do you ladies do it? It's one thing I'm seriously anal about - I dislike hair intently!! I have the hair on my head and that's it (oh, and my eyebrows of course!!), anything else makes me feel  ...of course, we don't have kids yet, but I will still have to shave my legs every day etc afterwards (although I'll be working as well)...I hate prickly legs and armpits and when everything else is growing back!!!

I don't know how you ladies shave your girly bits - don't they get itchy or am I missing something?
Eyebrows - pluck (luckily have a natural shape, just have to pluck strays) Bikini line - wax (at home, you get over it) Legs - shave, every 2nd day Armpits - shave, every 2nd day |

I find brazilians hurt less when I do it myself - I am a beauty therapist so have hot wax at home.. If the hairs are really long you might like to try trimming down to a cm or two before waxing, and try using wax made for the bikini area as some recommend not using down there IYKWIM ------------- http://lilypie.com">

Eyebrows - get them waxed every 6 weeks or so and pluck in between Bikini line - epilator and bikini trimmer Legs - in winter I just shave; in summer I get them waxed initially then use my epilator about every 4 weeks Armpits - epilator (have been using it for YEARS and only have about 10 hairs left under my pits!) ------------- http://lilypie.com">

| I dont see why u cant use the noraml bikini hair removal cream on the whole area,..but the hairs grow back the same the same as if u shave them and itch,..when u wax the hair grows back softer and nicer than the shape bristles from shaving!! |

Eyebrows - plucked mostly but treat myself to a salo wax about once every 6 months
Armpits - shave about twice a week Bikini Line - shave about once a week - but while i was pregnant i was going to the salon to get it waxed as I couldnt see the thing anymore!! Legs - shave about twice a week |

i find the cream smelly and you have to leave it on for ten mins so it is quicker to shave.
Eyebrows - wax at salon Armpits shave when i need to Bikini line -shave but was going to start IPL laser treatment when I became pregnant so might have to look into that again Legs shave but hate the prickles. Well i (well actually DH) wax at home using the nads naughty wax (why naughty when you just want to maintain...) for bikini/brazillian (mind you at the moment its just trimmed i cant be arsed with wax being this heavily preggers)
Eyebrows - wax every now and then at a salon (i sux at plucking always manage to stuff it up lol) Armpits - shave when i need to (which seems to be every 2nd day at the moment )

Eyebrows - I get them threaded once a month at East Day Spa. Well worth the $18, and a nicer, cleaner, more structured look than waxing. I also get my upper lip threaded at the same time for an extra $15.
Bikini line - I get it waxed every two months. Legs - shave. At the moment, I can only get to the bottom half. At least the hair on the upper part haven't grown that much since I got pregnant! Armpits - shave, everyday ------------- http://lilypie.com">

Up til the last week or so, I've hardly had to shave & I have been think the old wives tale was true if you are having a boy your hair grows less, with a girl it grows more! Thank god, I thought there was no one else who didn't really do anything! I haven't shaved my legs in months! Luckily I have fine, sparse hair so I don't look like bigfoot. I decided to stop shaving armpits about a month ago too, little bit of feminism, but mostly laziness. Inspired by my aqua yoga teacher who appears not to have done anything with her armpit hair in years! I felt comfortable with it because SHE was comfortable with it. So: Eyebrows - nothing, used to pluck as a teenager Bikini line - pluck anything unruly once every few weeks. Legs - Nothing, but used to shave Armpits - Nothing, but used to shave. Had them waxed a couple times in high school and the pain was intense! Plus I found waxing didn't work for me anyway. |
