I googled my address and there's a lovely picture of my front yard and house.  I'm guessing it was taken sometime between Feb-Apr this year judging by my ex-flatmates car in the driveway.

ETA: what do you think of it?  Is it all a bit big brother for you, do you think it's a security risk? or do you think people are complaining for nothing?

You can't actually see our house cos it is down a driveway - our neighbours were out the front of their house though so they are on it! I think they said they saw the google car drive past.

Same with us, we are down a lane so you can't see our house (I sort of wish you could!)

I don't really think it is a security risk as you can only see the front of houses, not duck in between or around the back or anything - now that would be dodgey!

When I checked mine, which only showed me the satalite view, I saw both DH's work vehicles at home, so it must've been taken on the weekend!

Mine photo is cool although I wish my wheeli bin wasn't on the front lawn (so rubbish day). I am not worried, its not as though its real time and people can watch you come and go.

Our house is on it , but I think its before we moved in , then I looked at my parents house, and MY car is parked outside, and my mum is on the porch .

If I could think of more peoples addresses , i would do some stalking ....

I havne't read replies but i don't like it..i think it's creepy how people can study your house and look up where you live etc:( but everyone else I know loves it.. I heard somewhere that it was very upsetting to someone as the pic was taken on the person's Mum's funeral day and so the pictures reminded them.. he said that meant it was taken in his street in April.. ..

i find it creepy too, you can't see anyone in particular or anything like that, but do find it freaky.

I don't find it freaky as it's just the street view. If you could go round the back of peoples houses then that would be wrong!

You can see our driveway but not our house as it's up a ROW.

Yep we are on it, but you can only really see the roof of our house. I don't have any issues with it, it's just one moment in time and its nothing you can't see from the street anyway.

I didn't think I would care but I just looked up our house and Bens truck is just on the drive which made it seem really weird. I don't know why but its more 'real' seeing his car there. I don't really like it TBH

I think it's awesome. Although we're not on it, we were able to have a look at where we are staying in Queenstown in january :D Never realised queenstown was so hilly as well!
