I have been putting off going for a bikini wax for about 2 months now. Needless to say things are growing like grass down there. (for some reason faster than ever before????). I am now too embarassed to go!!!
But then I also am feeling like I dont really care??
Is everyone else keeping up their treats and bits and pieces for our beauty?

It does seem to grow faster doesn't it??
And no...most I've managed is a bit of a shave but it's getting harder to see over the bump and quite frankly I can't be bothered!
I keep thinking I should "tidy up" but.....

well if it helps.... i have just made an appointment for a braz wax - i havnt had one since the 3rd of feb, which is way too long to go without! am feeling really yuck, far too much hair there. (sorry, tmi) i just got lazy about making an appt. thank goodness i have, its getting desperate!
When i was preg i stopped getting them, as i didnt want to freak out my midwife. this time round i wont care, in fact my friend ( who is my therapist and waxer) is saving some shapes for me ( an arrow haha) and i think i will get diamantes as well. May as well look as pretty as it can, right!

Oooooh ouch!
I have not a had BRAZ for ages!!! I would like too but just cant bring myself to do it. feel a bit sensitive. Bad enough to go get a normal wax. I have been thinking about the birth and really dont want to look like I am all overgrown tho!!!
My friend thinks I am nuts...She is a beauty therapist and said I am stupid to even worry about it cause no one else will be! I guess because I have been having it done for a while now its part of life!!!
I tried to shave a ended up with a nasty cut and rash!!
Ahhh the things we do!

Me too. I hate it. Feel soooo horrible. Makes me feel so unsexy. Tried in shower but bump too hard to get right down there. Growing sooooooooo quick. Yuk!!!! Would love to build up the courage to go to a beauty salon. May have to go to the other side of the world and get it done, lol.

I haven't even shaved my legs for about two weeks Starting to resemble a grizzly bear....
Must get eyebrows waxed too as they have gotten too out of control to pluck and a hair color would be nice too...

AFAIK, part of all the other wonderful things pregnancy does to us is to make our hair and nails grow faster than normal... ALL our hair!
I have a bikini trimmer, and as I get further along, I get Nat to... ummm... tidy everything up (sorry if TMI) for me. He gets a little nervous, but overall it often turns into quite a good bonding time for the two of us.

Wait until your babies are here and you cant afford to do those things anymore... Need to reshuffle my budget so I can still do that stuff, cos feel yuckky otherwise!

A bikini trimmer is a small hair cutter that is suitable for cutting/trimming pubic hair.
There are lots of different ones out there - it seems that manufacturers that make mens electric razors also make these! This is http://www.noelleeming.co.nz/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&productId=32770&crumb=10007-10243-13451 - the one I have (mother's day gift a couple of years ago).

I used to "tidy" up in the bath. Easier to shave my legs that way.
I was to shamed out of my amazon jungle and got SICK of waiting for DH to help out, I had a very good tidy up on the side of the bath with a veet razera and a mirror a few days before B Day. Didn't want to be even more "messy" with fluids, blood etc at the birth... TMI, I know..

i'm too chicken to get a braz wax!
the hair does grow alot faster when your preggy eh! dean told me the other night my legs were like sandpaper and i'd only shaved 2days before! urghhh!!
as for the bikini....i usually like to keep it nice and tidy but alas, the expanding belly is making things a little awkward (sp?) and i also just can't be bothered, so every now and again will have to do.
i'm too scared to let dean down there with a razor!! had a go at it when i was preggy with jack, but he didn't get very far cos i frecked and he got too nervous

You are lucky!
I would give anything to not have to worry about body hair in these places!
I will have to bite the bullet and go get a wax.

i had my bikini done for my wedding (and honeymoon ) and thought it would be soooo embarrassing, but i was actually quite relaxed with the lady that did it. she was someone older, which helped i think.

I must admit I'd be too much of a wuss to wax!! I hate waxing at the best of times let alone in such a sensitive area!
