I think I have broken my little toe by jamming it in a door :o( I blame it on the broken nights sleep making me do such a dumb thing
Anyway, I am just wondering if I should see the doctor about it? Can they do anything? Its not wonky or anything, just very, very sore and bruised.

Yeouch, poor you!
I'm not a nurse but I have broken a toe before and all they did was strap it to the toe next to it and prescribe panadol.
It is probably worth getting it looked at, it will be free under ACC.
Hope it gets better fast!

Hi. again im not a nurse - ambulance officer instead.
Id get it looked at just to make sure if it is a break its a clean fracture also they will strap it to the other one which will support it and prevent it from healing on an angle. Panadol and ibuprofen (nurofen) are probably what they will prescribe obviously panadol for pain and ibuprofen for any swelling. Depending on where you go a&e (you may not be seen) or accident center there may be a part charge from acc but most of it should be covered. Hope your feeling better fractures hurt like heck!
