Hey all,

The other day after Id been walking around the home show we stopped to talk to a friend. Then all of a sudden I got this trickle of fluid running down my leg. it felt like heaps. I thought my waters had broken really early, argh!!!! Is it normal to get lots of fluid like that. I think it just seemed worse cos I forgot to wear a liner that day.

yeah, i'd check too, just to be on the safe side... it could just be the extra discharge that we get while preggers, but it could be something more.
goodluck!!!!!

I'd be calling your m/w too...(not meaning to freak you)...but you could be leaking. As Kelpa said...it wasn't sweat was it?

I've noticed (like no doubt everyone else) increased discharge...but nothing like what you're describing. Nothing to say it wasn't that though.

Better to be safe that sorry though. Good luck!

You didn't sneeze or do something to leak elsewhere did you? (if you get my drift)

Hmmm....Thats odd. I never had that. I wonder what it could be. If you are not happy with your midwife's answer you should go and see a doc. Better to be safe!

If the flow is too heavy, use cotton pads instead of a tampon. The flow is usually clear or cloudy and does not have any odor. Expectant mothers should not worry about heavy flows as they are absolutely normal and appear because estrogen increases in the body and there is a greater blood flow around the vagina. Vaginal discharge while pregnant can be increased greatly; this condition is normal and doesn't require any treatment, such as cone biopsy, but a pap smear test is necessary.

I found this so maybe it can be normal for some women.
