DH and I have a wedding to go to at Mudbrick on Waiheke next year and I am wanting to surprise DH and make it a whole weekend away (thanks Mum for offering to babysit for the whole weekend for us)!!

Does anyone have any recommendations of somewhere nice to stay? I have googled, but there are loads to choose from!! I am wanting to spend around $100-$200 cost per night maximum.

Any advice/suggestions welcome!

TIA

ETA: My post didn't make sense, must be the rum I am drinking

If you're going baby-free then palm beach bungalows are supposed to be really nice and romantic - haven't been there myself though

I just went to find where we stayed (as it was scrumptous) but it was double the price you want to pay .. (we stayed at the loft at 372 estate)

However when I went to find pricing etc for them .. I came across this place which looks perfect! Although I didnt look at a map to see how far away it is from mudbrick. But its within budget ..

We stayed at the Island Breeze in Sandy Bay when we went up for a week a few Christmasses ago (in our pre-baby days).  We loved it!  It's about 25mins walk from oneroa but the taxis are cheap and it's on the bus route plus we walked basically everywhere.  We loved being in a secluded area.  The cost was $125 per night.

It is completely self contained with kitchenette, lounge, bedroom, bathroom and deck with a BBQ plus it has an outdoor bathhouse with a corrugated iron roof (there was one stormy day while we were there and we had a candlelight bath that evening with the rain hammering on the roof - it was so romantic).
